ENB - d3d9.dll causes instant ctd

Hello.

I've a problem with the ENB in Skyrim LE - d3d9.dll causes instant ctd upon opening launcher, and (0xc000001d) error code upon launching the exe or skse_loader.

I've had this problem before, and installing older direct X libraries solved it before (June 2010), but not this time. I've been googling for hours now, nothing seems to work. At one point I used the injector version, and that worked *once* , and then it just didn't after relaunching the game, and I didn't change anything. Tried admin rights, compatibility modes, all that stuff. Nothing worked.

This was all after reinstalling Windows 10 Pro and restoring a backup of Skyrim + mods (Mod Organizer), which has worked before, but not this time. Skyrim even launched *once* immediately after Win 10 reinstall and plugging in the external drive where I saved its backup.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

How do you know the problem lies with d3d9.dll?

When I delete that file, the game launches. ENB doesn't work without it, though.

Which doesn't mean the problem is with the dll. Your ENB could be incorrectly configured, i.e. your enblocal.ini or enbseries.ini are not correct.

They have not been changed at all. This is a working build from top to bottom. All I did was reinstall Windows and restore the backup , as I do. But this time, it didn't work. I migrated over to MO2, and now it does work, but I've run into a multitude of other problems now. I just decided to finally go to SSE, working on building that right now.
