How to Fix Error in New Update

Recommended Posts

If you guys are having issues with your new update no worries!

Make sure your Basemental Drug is up to date

Make sure your MC Command is up to date

The NisasWickedPerversions has a hot fix that fixes errors (make sure that NisasWickedPerversions has its own folder in your mods section and up to date)

Delete old animations and replace them with new ones or update your old ones. Put animations in its own folder in the mods

Clear your game cache and restart your game..

Now the only thing is that you may have to start over on a sim.

I had issues with interactions and i deleted my old animations and replaced them with new ones and now I have no errors so far. I hope this helps you all

That's sad... People didn't learned to read. Using brain is to hard. Even peps, like you, give solutions, there still are some people to ask before seeking if their issue have already been solved. Anyway. Nice try. :)

There should be no reason to delete WW animations, they should have no effect on the rest of the game.

If you have EA replacement animations then those could be problematic.

I didnt say delete WW i said delete the animations or take them out and place them back..

And I'm trying to explain that animations used in WW shouldn't be causing any problems, even old ones. I use animations from 2016 and they still work, no problems.

I'm not trying to be rude, it's just animations basically either work cause they made properly, or don't work. They don't effect anything else. So even broken animation files still don't do anything to the rest of the game.

After reading some of these post above I would think anyone would be scared to post a question or explain an issue they are having. Feel free to make fun of me I don't care. In my CAS some the male sims are wearing skin clothing in the sleep section. Any suggestions. I only have three different skins things in my mods. The clothes don't show up and during sex I can't see their normal face. I have done the above suggestions so thanks for that. I will do it all again and see what happens. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks all!

I would hope that one person making a comment about people not reading shouldn't scare everyone away from getting help if they need it, I see you're point but I think its way exaggerated in the context of this thread. My own posts where an attempt to inform the OP that the changes they made to their own animation folder wasn't the reason the issue got fixed, but people will convince themselves of anything, hence magic.

Here is my sim. In his naked state he loses hair and any clothes looks like his skin. So any suggestions? Thanks so much for any assistance in this matter.

Well I just posted on what I had to do to fix mines and threw suggestions out there. I won't do that no more.

I wouldn't be discouraged from ever offering suggestions-- that's a good thing. But try to keep a open mind that maybe some of your suggestions could also be incorrect and someone may point this out to prevent other users from making a mistake in order to help them. Simite and yourself are trying to achieve the same goal here....helping others.

That said, what Simite is saying is true. There is usually no reason to delete any Animations or update them -- unless you want the newest additions added by the creators.  The only time I can remember there ever being a reason to delete or update was the ooolalaworld animation when the Seasons patch was released.

Now folder structure could be a problem with animations such as being placed too deep or sometimes placed in the same folder as WW but you should have to delete them. Not my fight, I know, just my 2 cents.

@psycatozzy If you are using any CC hair or accessories, try moving them to your desktop, then delete the localthumbcache.package file and load the game again. Some CC was broken with the sims patch.
