Onlysims4 Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 I downloaded the new update wicked whims For Sims for Sims four 4. As I started The game I see this little notice about a censorship. At first I didn’t know what it meant until I let my son take a shower and I see this The game I see this little notice about a censorship. At first I didn’t know what it meant until I let my Sim take a shower and I see this mosaic box On my sim character. I did takeoff to Simms steamer mode but it didn’t make a difference. The notice is still there. What can I do how can I take this off?

If your sims are still censored then you must still have the streamermode package file installed someplace because it's the only way Sims get censored. 1) First, adjust windows settings so it searches subfolders (see this gif on how to do this): https://imgur.com/6amsrWW 2) Then search your Mod fodler individually for these EXACT words and delete any that appear; zip rar compressed TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_StreamerMode
Onlysims4 Posted June 21, 2019 Author Posted June 21, 2019 I have gotten rid of the Turbodriver_WickedWhim_StreamerMode, but its still there. Could it be in the Animations or I such uninstall the game and reinstall it again?

If your sims are still censored then the streamermode file is still installed somewhere. I just spent another half hour trying to replicate the problem and I can't. Like I have these last couple days. Post you GameVersion.text file located in The Sims 4 folder. Then follow these instructions:

When I backed up my mods to a new folder, I did it in the sims 4 tree and called it back up mods. Then went on to delete problematic mods. I noticed I was still getting references to mods that i had moved/copied/deleted. So, I moved the "backed up mods" folder to a different drive and location OFF of the sims 4 file tree. That stopped the bleed over of those mods i moved/deleted for debugging. Maybe, some how, the streamer mode is still being picked up by the sims build sweeper process reading the .package files regardless of where they are at on the sims 4 tree. Just my thoughts I am no sims 4 expert, but I am a developer IRL. Trick
