Modded Follower Invisible Body

Hey guys so I recently found a follower I wanted to use in game (Victoria Velina) and found a SSE version of her I'll put the link at the end. At first I just downloaded all the files I wanted and put them into my vortex and turn on the game, but when I came in she didn't have a body. So I've tried a couple different things, at first I thought maybe the mod wasn't transfered from base skyrim to SSE correctly so I tried to do it on my own after watching video and in the end the same thing happened except this time the fact mesh was messed up aswell. So I tried downloading all the SSE files from the website again and put them all into one archive. After doing so I tried to load up the game and I'm still having the same issue! I'm running XPMSE so I'm not sure if its a skeleton issues and at this point I'm completely stumped. Please help!

This is tech support for LE, SE has its own section.

This is not a Skyrim technical issue anyway. It is between you and the mod so why not use the mod's support thread?

Sorry didn't realize I was posting in the wrong place, also the mod has been abandoned by the user it would seem just finding files to use have been pretty difficult was hoping I could find someone experienced in modding to give me a hand.

Sounds like mesh for body is not in the right place but you have to check this by loading esp and see what folder structure it is expecting. I cannot open this mod since I don't have se or any tools for it.

"So I tried downloading all the SSE files from the website again and put them all into one archive"

Maybe this is where the problem is? I don't know vortex so not sure what in one archive means but if folder names and locations don't match esp data then you will have missing models in game.

I don't think it was me putting all the files into one archive and replacing because I was having the same issue before I did that. Basically I took all the zip files with the extra things like body replacer, meshes for tattoos/makeup and put them into one archive and overwrite the files that needed to be overwrite. What do I use to load the esp?

So I opened up the creation kit and I noticed a couple things. First in the render panel for Victoria when you put preview on full her body doesnt show just a huge red triangle around below her head, and when I checked the errors page a few lines stood out to me that read Unable to Map bone NPC L Item01-03 and NPC R item01-03. I'll upload pictures I took of these. Are these why she's a floating head in my game with an invisible body and how do I fix it? I have very little experience with Nif Skope so I don't have the foggiest idea how to fix it.

Those errors are expected in this case.

First thing to do is go to first tab of npc where race and gender are assigned, look at Worn Armor. If it does not say NONE then set it to NONE and refresh preview and see if body appears.  To refresh just double click the check mark where it say preview entire npc or body or whatever those two check boxes say in the bottom.

If body still missing then go to inventory tab, look at default outfit, set it to none see if body appears.

This is just a quick way to find what armor is broken/missing.

If no default outfit is assigned and no worn armor is assigned the npc's race is where body armor is set and you will have to go there and follow that path.

Do Not Save any changes here, this is only for finding what is missing really fast instead of digging through every armor and armor addon equipped!!

If you find missing file path in the esp data and not just missing an armor mesh then edit the esp with tes5edit and not ck.

So I think I found out what the issue is. I tried to set her skin to none and then back to what texture she normally has and nothing happened, but when I do the same thing except with her default outfit set as none the red triangle disappears and the skin texture shows. I then tried to set her default outfit back to what it was to see if the red triangle would reappear but nothing changed. So here comes the tricky part, this mod does require a armor mod from what I read "Lustmord Vampire Armor" but I already tried seeing if using those armor mods would cause he body to appear but it didn't. Currently I have a spanish port downloaded to my game because the other two ports from regular skyrim are either a CBBE port over and a color swap. I tried just saving the changes I made in creation kit but while saving the CK client just crashed. I honestly have no idea how to edit the esp in ssedit I've tried but I don't know what needs to be changed.

Don't make any edits to this npc in ck and then save, chances are even if it didn't crash it would break something else anyway.

You could probably edit the outift list or armors with ck if it will let you save without crashing but don't open the npc data for any reason during that session and then save.

Easiest fix if you are not familiar with ssedit is open the npc esp, click on npc and scroll down in the npc data window until you see DOFT default outfit. Right click on the outfit listed and select remove, it will warn you about making changes so select yes and to save changes just close the program with the x and make sure your npcs esp is checked and make backup is checked. Now npc has no assigned outfit you can give them clothes in game.

It would probably be easy to fix the broken file path or even move the nifs to the expected folder location but without access to the mod esp I cannot help you with this.
