kodamant Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 help, ive been troubleshooting this for two days, ever since i installed this mod called things in the dark the game would crash without it, i took it off, then reinstalled skyrim, still crashed, checked the most recent papyrus log and the last thing it said was something about dcc_sgo_questcontroller being unable to be opened likely due to it missing? what is it and how o i fix it, verifying the files doesn't do jack shit
Grey Cloud Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 CTD on start up is usually too many animations or missing master(s). The Papyrus log has nothing to do with it. Crash Fixes, LOOT and your mod manager of choice will let you know if it is a missing master. How many animations does FNIS say you have?

ItalianDragon Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 The animation limit is variable from person to person. I'm sitting at 13k anims but I can't add any more for example. You don't have much choice excpet removing a poser mod to make room.
