Vylade Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 The fair skin patch for cosio on the cosio download page won't be installed by MO2. It says there is no game data. I can't install it. Anyone know why?

modball Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Bit of a botched job on the file structure of this mod. Fomod installer is broken as a result. *edit: see below for fixed file. You may want to let the mod author know.  There are 4 diffuse maps (skin color) in the Skin_d_* folders and 3 normal maps (muscle tone) in the Skin_n_* folders available in this mod. You need to install one of each.  I would suggest doing this:  When installing, expand the Fair Skin Complexion for CBBE v9.2.1 folder (the other directory has no texture files in it) and set one of the Skin_d_* directories as your top level directory. This will only install the diffuse map body texture.  You'll then have to manually install the normal map file. Just open the 7zip file you downloaded and the folder you just installed the mod into and copy one of the textures folders found in the Skin_n_* folders into the top level directory. It will ask you to overwrite the folders but not the texture files.  Either that or just manually install the files (femalebody_1.dds and femalebody_1_msn.dds) you want into \textures\actors\character\female\  *edit: it would be best to install the matching diffuse and normal maps (curvy, flat or slim). The pubic option is the curvy body with pubic hair.  edit2: I'll leave that up but I was able to fix this by just compressing the Fair Skin Complexion for CBBE v9.2.1 folder, Fomod installer now working. The installer has options for specular and subsurface scattering and a few other things but these files are not present in the folders. I think they just used a Fomod installer from another mod and forgot to edit it properly.  Fair Skin Complexion for CBBE v9.2.1.7z

These textures won't match with the head and hands in the main COSIO installation file. I don't use COSIO so I didn't test it in game, sorry it didn't work for you.
