iirc most of the pretty boy followers on Nexus use a modified female head and have neck seams when used with sos, and if their face is swapped to males then that doesn't look right either.  I remember trying azel follower and kiki's packs.

 

I use https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/92561 and there was a mod called male elven followers 1 by UlanX that sadly seems to have been pulled.  It had some real hunks in it.
