RW311 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 If I set allocator on, enboost still works in that the enbhost runs but I have black skin textures on some characters so game is not reading that memory? Turning allocator off enbhost still runs and now no more black skin. I tried tweaking memory settings for crash fixes and enbhost at intervals but never made any difference, just doesn't access what is in the memory allocated by enbhost also tried removing memory tweak from skse but nada. Anyone have this issue or know if there is some setting that could affect this?
donttouchmethere Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 As far as I understand it: to use the CF memory allocator be sure that the enblocal.ini setup is right: ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false UseOSAllocators=1 => expandsystemmemoryx64=false UseOSAllocators=0 => expandsystemmemoryx64=true UseOSAllocators=1 => expandsystemmemoryx64=true => I get CTD after LAL with that setting, so if you get only black skin then your doing it right while doing it wrong?^^
RW311 Posted June 4, 2019 Author Posted June 4, 2019 I think I may have found the problem, hopefully. Testing across two different character save files and one is working fine the other gets black face with allocators on but also crashes hard anytime I try to fast travel once allocator is turned off so there is something going on in just this save or something happens once I leave the cell... Other character that works with settings as you say is working no problems when going to same cell location or fast travel anywhere where I get black body on character with other save. So it's a very annoying bug I managed to find instead of a problem with crash fixes maybe?
