Orpheusthewarrior Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 Hello everyone! I’m wondering if anyone knows how to port Brutish Argonian Males with the DLCs from old Skyrim to SSE, or if anyone knows where the Skyrim Special Editions version is could you link it. Thanks in advance. Also on a side note does anyone know if HDT works with SAM Light for SSE?

Even though I own SSE I still like to stay with ols skyrim so I don't know if this is true. Here you go. This should do the trick: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4089/

Or I get a CTD, what are the requirements for Brutish Argonians as the mod page over at Vector Plexus doesn't seem to specify anything. Also I do have SAM Light and its requirements.

Could you possibly sent me your version? I saw somewhere that it only had meshes. Apparently there's more going on here. If it has scripts than chances are tha it just won't work.

The version I got was the Baked Argonian Males for Skyrim and DLCs, all that mod has is two folders named Skyrim.esm and Dragonborn.esm within those two folders are the nif files.

Have you tried opening them in creation kit? There's supposed to be a button to save them as the new types file. Maybe that'll work.

Also if and when I save it, what else would I need to do afterwards. I have MO2 installed and I do have the the SSE CK however again I’ve never really used it. Edit: when activating the mod in MO2 there is no esp or esm.

Ofcourse you can't just go changing things in them directly. Sorry, it's been a while since i've actually modded skyrim. Then I don't know what to say anymore. Maybe other people have better ideas. Have you posted on the nexus as well or steam?

Indanger Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Be sure to check the Box "head parts only" when optimizing ALL the meshes. Works just fine for me but I haven't installed the female fix yet.

And after that what do I do, repack it into a new zip folder and install it via my MO2 Edit: Just checking the head part only did not work.

This is how I got it working. But again: I need to check if I can run the female fix too.
Orpheusthewarrior Posted May 24, 2019 Author Posted May 24, 2019 Alright so after testing both the files, Brutish Argonians for skyrim and DLCs/ Brutish Argonian (head only) the head only file works fine, however the one with the DLCs and main game do not work. I still get a CTD after switching to the Argonian race and trying a new preset.
