Huntersborn bug

Checked through loot and fixed all errors using tutorials. Game running, but I keep getting a stacking pile of bear meat as soon as I activate huntersborn, spontaneously increasing in size. Would appreciate any input.

I would encourage you to post this on the mod's support thread on Nexus.

So I went to the link you gave me (thank you). When I looked at the thread I found something similar in post #66331263:

Spoiler

Now whenever I harvest pelts, meat, bones, ect from a dead animal I get an absolute ton of stuff. Especially if it's a large animal like a Horker or Cavebear. The last Horker I harvested granted 40 horker meats. I harvested from a cave bearlaat night and the total weight of everything was a ridiculous 1,200. I had to divide all the crap up among three followers (using AFT) just to get it all back to my home (riverside lodge). I was wondering if that much loot is intentional or if it's perhaps bugging out or conflicting with another mod. I got 29 fine bear pelts from one bear. Lol. Over 300 bear claws. That can't be right. If it is supposed to be like that, is there a cap to how much you can harvest?

I haven't played around with MCM options, but intend to do that next time I fire up the game.

Where the solution given was:

There is an MCM option in "Tweaks" where you can set quantity of meat under presets to "Single Cut".

I hope that helps.

Thanks a lot for taking the time, but I had already seen that post,

Mine is quite different as meat starts stacking as soon as I activate the mod on a fresh game, which is very strange, suffice to say, I tried this but no dice. Never seen a bug like this before.

That would sound like a problem in the scripting. It is possible that some other mod is interfering and you could try changing its location in the load order (move it toward the bottom). However, I should say when I personally face an issue like this I simply delete the mod and move on. There are too many good mods out there to let a bad one spoil my game time.

Ye, I agree, it just has such good reviews, and I hadnt used it before, was really excited for it. There are all sorts of compatibility options in it, i tried enabling all of them, but none worked. I enable logging on papyrus and that's what I got:

I couldn't open your file (Sorry). If you want me to look at your papyrus log I would prefer if you would just paste the actual log into a spoiler. If the actual file appears to be too large for this simply start AT THE END and copy the last ~25 lines of the log.

I havent been able to decode the file myself, I enabled papyrus, but it does not seem to log anything unless the game crashes which it doesnt. Here are the things I have tried so far: 1) i have disabled dependent mobs one by one reloaded a clean save without every one of them separately and still got the bug. 2) I have installed 5 compatibility patches so far including rnd patch, wearable lanterns patch, gotobed-se patch, hunterborn caco patch. The only other dependent patch shows up as misc retexture project which i have tried disabling as well.

I get the same bug again and again, when i enable the patch save then load the game, bear meats keeps spontaneously multiplying in my inventory. I have also trying enabling/disabling all compatibility toggles such as ( - using textures from different addon and so on). I am at the end of my rope here..
