qimakio Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 So my game still works but lately, I've noticed it's become increasingly more unresponsive. I'll have to frequently reset a sim to get them to stop or start an action. Or they'll be doing a simple task (cooking/brushing teeth) and it will take 3 game hours to complete. What could be causing this?!

Miss AshleyJ Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 are you ntocing proformance issues in other programs? how long have you had your computer? have you cleaned the inside of your machine out?
qimakio Posted May 13, 2019 Author Posted May 13, 2019 No other lag or performance issues I ran Civ 6 on full settings, as well as rimwold (which doesnt demand much) with no issues. Computer is less than 2 yrs old and i havent cleaned out the inside. Is that a canned air situation or do i need to take it apart to do so?
Miss AshleyJ Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 pop the lid and give it a blast every few months or so. Heat is the number 1 enemy of electronics. and dust is a great thermal insulator.
