causes of ctd? please help, really urgent

i believe my saves are broken.

What are the causes of ctd when you load a game after opening the game(NOT during gameplay) and sleep?

 

Here is my story and i still dont know why i got ctd:

 

1. First time playing, i used the same mods. No changes. Got my first ctd at lv 20ish

2. In that same character, i get more and more ctd when loading a game from opening game, or sleep

3. So i thought my saves are screwed. So i deleted them all, removed my ini, renderer info etc, uninstalled skyrim, reinstalled skyrim, put back all mods in the same BOSS load.

4. New character now ctd everytime during loading a save from opening game. Even sleeping causes ctd.

5. Did the same thing again, remove all my saves, reinstalled, now i even get ctd randomly!

 

What the fk is going on.....

 

Dont know if the papyrus record will help but, who knows..

For the papyrus log that i ctd BEFORE i get into the game, it is pretty much similar...

However the reinstallation brought in some new lines i never seen before, such as 'Cannot open store for class "dlc1scwispwallscript", missing file?'

You're using Animated Prostitution right? If you're also using PCEA. Then that might be the problem. Crashing on loading saves can be really random sometimes, but there seems to be a correlation with crashing on load and loading the most recent save after the game has crashed. ie. If you game crashed and you load the immediate save create before the crash occurred, the game will be more likely to crash on loading that save.

 

Anyways, if you're using PCEA with AP. Try uninstalling either then see if it still crashes. I recommend testing always with new games rather than previous saved games.

I dont use PCEA. But i do notice something. The first ctd happened when i got my first follower(vilja) Then the next save being loaded is a ctd. I am using amazingfollowertweaks. Now, i seem to get ctd with any follower but this mod is fully compatble with the latest version of skyrim and skse.

 

Also, the majority of ctd kicked in when i installed AP. I had ASX before and not many ctd. Then i added AP and then XLV. XLV shouldnt be the problem so it all points to AP...

 

I want to keep my saves as i dont want to lose my progress. How do i 'fix' the saves?

Assuming you have at least one save that works.

With the AP amulet equipped, you should see a option in your spell/magic menu called AP options. Use that and select the option "kill AP" then exit the game uninstall AP and reload. If that doesn't fix the saves. Then you will need to start a new game.

When you installed AP, did you delete the 3 files specified in the AP description before running the FNIS Generator? If not, that may be your issue. Taken directly from the AP description:

 

"So it’s easy now to get AP 100% compatible with other animation mods.

 

* Delete "data\meshes\actors\character\behaviors\mt_behavior.hkx"

* Delete "data\meshes\actors\character\characters\defaultmale.hkx" <- Not really needed, just to be safe

mt_behavior is not needed at all when using AP with FNIS, the other 2 are rebuilt by the Generator.

 

I currently use AP, XLV, and ASX together, and the all work fine with no CTDs (although I use UFO rather than AFT).

i did remove the 3 files on my last playthrough, just checked. So it is definitely not those 3 files. What i suspect is a mod that conflicts with AP somehow, or a mod that has loads of scripts but it got corrupted.

i guess i might have to remove all mods with heavy scripts on a new game and see how it goes.

I have found the exact same problem with AP Skyrim.  I am now keeping it turned off for regular game play.  AP Skyrim does cause crashes.  I went from 10 crashes an hour to 1 every 3 or 4 hours when i turned the esp off.
