dramatic deaths and animations

I'm working on a mod and looking for some inspiration

In this mod, when an npc is low health and near death (deferred death on), they will play an animation, some effects will play, and then they die.

Think of it like anime-style deaths where villains explode or die in a flash of light.

so far I've got this working on specific npcs by attaching a script to them and hooking up a lot of events, but I'm hoping for some new ideas or suggestions on how to more cleanly implement this idea.

What are some fitting animations/idles that would fit this theme?

better than anime, more realistic :classic_wink:

It all depends on the 'anime'. Deadly Mutilation brings things into line with Berserk rather than the understated deaths found in Golgo 13 (which strives for realism in all things but the central figure's inhumanly accurate marksmanship.

that is not realistic for me.

I absolutely do not like Asian games, because in these games everything is exorbitant displayed exaggeratedly.:classic_wink:

I used 'anime' in quotes for a reason as it is simply a generic word for cartoon in Japan regardless of the specific style used or approach to content.

Seinen=Adult male demographic focused cartoons as well as Josei=Adult female focused cartoons tend to keep things within the realm of the possible while Shonen=Boys cartoons tend to go over-the-top with flashiness. The destiny (and density) of any given cartoon or game's graphical content lies in its target demographics.

To get back on track, why not go with one of those flashy Shonen samurai Iado finishers where they return their sword to its sheath right before their opponent explodes into a red mist?

I will with something like that not warm, it is far behind my imagination force!
I can not imagine, that a human (Character) just before dying, explodes.
moment, is it possible if I Him a hand grenade stuck in the ass. :classic_laugh:
realistic is if a samurai with his katana, parts of the body, head, arms and legs tee off.
these fights are absolutely unrealistic and also impossible, therefore a no go for me. :classic_wink:
