aifman7 Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 Hey all, I've had this problem for a few days now. These squiggly lines are on the chests of certain sim bodies. Is this coming from some CC overriding a default texture? I'm guessing I installed something incorrectly, I'm just having trouble figuring out where I got it so I know what to remove. If I use any of the randomizer options in CAS (via button on bottom of screen), they disappear and the sim's chest looks normal. Even when only randomizing the sim's Voice. This seems like the only option I can change to remove it though-- none of the other clothing/etc randomizers will get rid of it, neither does changing any other slider or option.. at least that I can find. It appears on both male and female sims. What's it from? Any help is appreciated

First, keep using CAS and remove various items from the Sim until the problem disappears (including face details, tattoos, etc.). Once you know which CC category it is coming from, strip all items off the Sim from all outfit categories until nothing but the offending CC is present. Save and export the Sim to your gallery. Use Sims 4 Tray Exporter to export the Sim with CC. Go to the file location and it will list the offending CC by filename. Delete the offending CC from your Sims 4 Mod folder. I also use this method to remove CC I no longer want or to identify CC that is causing issues in my game. Enjoy!
aifman7 Posted April 30, 2019 Author Posted April 30, 2019 Thanks for the replies. Really strange--I started a new game and these lines are no longer appearing! Not sure what the change was between the old game and my new one but I'll take it.
