New to the Sims, not even through CAS, and already lost...

So, thanks to the sale, I've decided to jump back into The Sims (well, last time I played was Sims 1...and a very brief stint on Sims Online)...and I've already sunk into the world of adult mods...

Some I think are easy enough to understand...but some are confusing me.  I'm really not sure this is the forum to be asking this, but I'm in desperate need of guidance.  I've read so many blogs and watched so many video guides that I should know what I need to do, but I think I've just confused myself even more.  I honestly feel like I'm standing in the middle of the world's largest Costco, just here to pick up some chips, but EVERYTHING looks so great, and don't I need a new tablesaw?

First, yes, I've installed WW...but now I guess I need to go for animations...and there are hundreds of them.  "Choose the ones you want!"....if I install a few dozen, will my Sims just randomly choose which animations to use when?  Or, if I install too many, do I end up being flooded with animation menus?

No, wait, FIRST is CAS...after seeing so many incredible Sims posted here, I've set out to create some to my liking.  Unfortunately, I think I might be going about it wrong.

-If I wanted to make a Sim in the style of those found on DeepBlueFrog's Bimbo Aspiration images, do I need to find an individual breast slider (Heavy Boobs?) and a butt slider and sliders for every other body part?

-If I want my female sim to have a penis, is that even possible (I installed "Pornstar Cock V4" and I can add a penis in CAS, but the moment I put clothes on, the penis disappears...that is, removing the clothes shows a vagina again).

-If I want to create an extremely muscular Sim, I assume I get to hunt down another mod and mesh and skin...but then, does that change all of my Sims to be muscular?  (I suppose the same question applies to breasts and butts and, well, everything).

Damnit, I just feel so slow.  Like I'm supposed to already understand this.  Why can't I just create my overtly sexual, perverted, bimbo-infested Sim world ruled by muscular futas as EA obviously intended to have happen with Sims 4?

1] WW animations - I install all of the ones I can get my hands on. When acting on their own, sims will pick a random one. When you initiate, it's categorized (ex; vaginal, oral, etc), then you can pick a specific one or a random one. One of the categories is "Random", which will pick a random animation from a random category.

2] CAS - I really suggest you try experimenting with CAS before making it complicated. It's a good idea to know how the basic game works, then you can have a good understanding of how each mod affects things. If WW is installed, in CAS, in the top-left corner, there are 3 dots. Click there. It will bring up a menu, which includes an option to give the sim a penis or not. It will show up in game (not CAS).

When it comes to cas, here's the basic rundown - making your sims muscular/bigger boobs, etc... Is a matter of how that specific item works. Some larger nude bodies are actually clothing items, and one problem with this is that all of the shirts/pants look smaller than the nude version, so it may be weird for you to see a Sim undressing and getting a bigger but/boobs than when they had clothes on. Some say they are a Default Replacement (DR or Override), you can only get one default, which will affect other sims, but WW has option to let other sims wear different clothing as their nude, too. Getting more than one default may cause conflicts, but some tops have a non-default/standalone version that you can still set as a nude for specific Sims.

When you give your female sims a penis, there is an option under gender settings near where you can change their name, it will ask "does sim have penis?" and you can select yes for that option. Then in Live Mode, you can select the Sim, and select "Wicked..." then Nude Selector (Or is it Body Selector? I actually forget, but it's soomething like that...) And from there if you have nude tops or bottoms, you can select which body type you want for that Sim, there's also option to quickly make all Sims of the same gender setting have the same part for a quick and fast setting.

There's also changing their body with sliders or presets. This is good because it changes the shape of the body even when they are wearing clothes. This only works on sims when you decide to use it on them, but there might be some version out there that use a multiplier to the base setting that'll change everyone's weight.

Then there's some version that's actually an accessory that you put on top of your clothes to make that body part look bigger. It should work with most outfits, but it may cause some clipping or texture issues on others. I can't find that many, there might be more, but this is all I found: https://thesims-nickiminaj.tumblr.com/post/172999989508/the-sims-4-big-butt-mod-cc-important-this-is

Also with animations, just get 'em all, why not? Unless you have a slow PC, you should be good. More mods in general only affects loading times. It's only a pain having a bunch of animation because if you have a favorite you wanna use, you might be scrolling for a while.

Anyway, if you wanna make muscular males...

Spoiler

Here are some tops:

Remember use only one Default/Override, just use your favorite, and for variety, use the non default/standalone version on your other guys.

If you get any of these tops, use these addons to make them compatible with WW Body Selector so they'll appear on nude Sims:

(they're in the same order as the above links, only get an addon for a top that you have downloaded. If you don't want a certain top, don't get the addon.)

A lot of pictures are "staged", not screenshots of "normal" playing; if you want to recreate them, you have a lot of work to do ?

Methods of creating the perfect picture include (list not exhaustive):

  • Equipping accessories/outfits that would look out of place in "normal" sim interactions, for example
    • differently looking bodies
    • weapons/other hand-held items
    • penis as an accessory
    • certain effects like glowing/sparkling
  • Using build/buy items that would be in the way during "normal" play like semi-transparent walls that look like fire or some magic effect
  • Pose Players (lock a sim in a certain posture that wouldn't be available otherwise)
    • You could argue that WW is, in a way, also a pose player, but with gameplay effects ?
    • For all animations, be it vanilla or WW, timing and a good angle are essential, and if only to hide some unsightly clipping
  • Reshade / visual effects
  • And of course good old photoshop

I'm sure a lot of people spend hours to find all the right prerequisites for their images, including outfits that look good, match the intended theme, don't clip through everything, etc. Also makup, alternative bodies/faces, don't forget the hair!

It also depends on your playstyle. For me it's too much of a hassle to equip accessories (like hand-held items) just to play out a specific scene, others do so regularly.

I have a hard time understanding anything that changes Sims from their default bodies, including extended sliders or transgender or futa, so you are not alone ?

I suggest playing around a bit with a setup that is as close to vanilla as it gets, and then go from there - little step by little step, to add features or items you need.

The good thing about sims mods is that there are so many, the bad thing about sims mods is that there are too many to not be overwhelmed by the vast variety to choose from.
