equicidal Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 I'm not talking about the expensive hollywood motion capture technology they use in CG animated films. I've seen the xbox kinect camera used in a similar way for motion capture & creating animations. Would this make animating for skyrim easier/harder? Has it already be done? Can it be done? Â EDIT* NVM I found the answer discussed in another thread...
TDA Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 1.skeleton for import and export the mocap animation has long been made.  http://www.maikcg.com/skyrim3dmaker/skyskel-skelet-dlya-skininga-i-animatsii-skayrima.html  OR  2.Kinect+MMD -RSV method-> Skyrim
Guest Lady Luck Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 well there is cheap motion capture available on ebay , or simply you can go to motion capture studio on los angeles but they ask you to pay for entrance fee to use their studio i remember doing that back when i still play second life.
astymma Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Carnegie Mellon University has a mocap library with, as far as I know, no restrictions on usage. It can be found here.
