Xenon93 Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Hey guys. As the title says, I left Skyrim mods due to my low laptop power, and taking a look over the posts and mods I saw a Skyrim Special Edition. Checking over there, this one needs more power to work like 8GB RAM, the double than the normal version plus all the hundred of mods I may install. Unluckily for me, I couldnt get a new pc more powerful and according to all the mods I installed and checked correctly on my last save game my pc started to play Skyrim slower until being something annoying. Actually I wanted to come back to update at least my mods folder until buy a gaming pc but apparently theres a new mod manager called Vortex. I installed it to check the new updates but after download a translation into my main language it didnt work. I made sure that the route was correct checking it from the official page but it doesnt work, and maybe I reinstall again Nexus Mod Manager until Vortex get fixed the common errors (because it stills on beta). So, how could I install correctly the translation and whats the difference with Skyrim Special Edition? Because I saw that many mods arent compatible. PD: Sorry for my English.
Nazzzgul666 Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 SE has 64 bit and graphics are a bit polished, but the latter is nothing you couldn't achieve by mods either.
Naihra Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 oldrim is better for adult mods, and has a larger collection of mods, SSE is better in the stability department but its main flaw is the creation kit updates which ruin a large amount of mods every couple months
