Of Wolves, Ghosts, and Schlongs.

I recently made a spell that summons a familiar (IE a spirit wolf) so it could rape a slave. And the spell works well, but it does present some challenges in the schlong department.

 

For one thing, the ghost shader doesn't affect the schlong, so you get this great red opaque thing on a transparent blue wolf. Ideally, I'd prefer a consistent color scheme. But the big problem for me is Creature Framework.  See, the only way I know to get the organ in question is to install More Nasty Critters. I have nothing particularly against MNC, but MNC needs CF, and CF tends to crash my game every time I cross a cell boundary, as it scans for creatures to shlongify.

 

And, honestly, that's not something I need, or want really. I'm playing a male, dominant slaver. I'm not looking for combat rapes unless my character is the aggressor, and frankly I'd prefer not to see every troll and skeever I encounter with it's dong sticking out.

 

So what I want to do is to set up a schlongified wolf in the CK that only appears as a result of my summons. I'd like the ghost shader to apply to the schlong as well as the rest of the wolf and the rest of them can keep their bits hidden.

 

Trouble is. I'm not entirely sure where to start. I've not looked at the MNC/CF code, but I'm guessing that the schlong is mounted on a node, which I can probably do at summon time. I don't know how to approach the shader problem though.

 

Any ideas, anyone? This is all a little outside my comfort zone.

This is what I got. I uninstalled MNC, but you can see the red ball sack in this screeny.

I mean I probably made a mistake setting it all up; I don't use MNC much. Really though, the colour is a minor thing. It's the load CF puts on my game that I want to avoid

Yeah. Thing is, it's not going in my end. I just want it going in the girls' ends under certain controlled circumstances.  It's a different use case from that of most of MNC's userbase :)

So, I've been looking at Rieklings for related reasons. Basically

 

  • Create a Reikling NPC. Set factions and suchlike so it isn't hostile
  • Create Reiking skin records (armor and AA) point at the MNC nifs
  • Give the new NPC the MNC skins
  • ... and I now have a naked riekling I can use as an ActorBase

That needs MNC to be installed, but the mod needn't be active, so no need to have CF running.

 

Does that sound about right?
