bm2x Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 I'm using Nexus. I have been trying to cut out as many of the MODs that I don't NEED to try and make the program have a lighter load and run better. I've got it down to 52 MODs/plugins. Some (deviouslycursedloot anyone?) are still not running 100% despite downloading, re-downloading, uninstall/reinstall attempts. Would making different profiles with less MODs/plugins be a possibility to try and narrow down possible conflicts or causes of why A works but B never does or is there an easier way to troubleshoot this or am I kind of stuck in a hole and getting trapped in bondage gear is just not in the cards for my Dragonborns?
Nazzzgul666 Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 Did you start a new game? Scripts are baked into your save, which means in general if you just uninstall a mod, chances are it'll become only worse because the scripts will still look for the mod but be unable to find it and create a clusterfuck. Therefore, yes, a new profile would help for testing IF you start a new game in these profiles. At least it would help to figure out if it's actually a mod conflict or a messy save. Many mods like Cursed Loot have a well maintained compatibility section in their description, read it.
