How to set up furnniture scenes?

Ive got a lot of furniture animations, but I dont know how to make them sync with an actual table. Some of them add the furniture themselves, but I have a feeling that Im doing something wrong. Im working with Sexlab Defeat, Devious Devices, Devious Captures (the mod bridging them) and various animation packs like Zaz and Funnybizz. Likewise, scenes involving being changed to the wall, they just hang in the air pretty much.

Few, if any, of the animations are designed to work with an "actual" table ("actual" since it's all a game, right?) The animations provide their own furniture in order to make certain that it exists. With some mods (Prison Overhaul Patched comes to mind, also Musje's mod Interactive BDSM) you can work with a limited number of existing pieces of furniture, primarily devices such as pillories, when you designate that in their McMenu.
