Char Gen presets unavailable. how do i get them to appear?

Recommended Posts

OK, now it depends a bit on the mod manager.

With NMM and Vortex i sometimes had the problem that they 'forgot' to install all required files.

With MO2 recheck if the pathing is correct (it should be …/Data/CalienteTools/Bodyslide/SliderPresets/…)

Also don't forget to run Bodyslide through MO2 as it is a virtual install, not a real one.

Give this a try;

Start up bodyslide

In the outfit/body section select cbbe Body physics or special or whichever other version of the cbbe body you use.

In the preset drop down you should then be able to choose the preset, if it does not show then it is not in the correct place or there is something wrong with it, it may also not be set up correctly for the body type you choose try switching the outfit/body to one of the other cbbe body types.

Hit preview to make sure that the body is the correct one you are using.

In the group filter section, select cbbe bodies

Tick the build morphs button if required, more than likely it should be selected.

Now hold down the CTRL key and with that held down click on the batch build button.

You should now get a list of options to build for the cbbe body, some of which will be cbbe body, cbbe body physics, cbbe body special, un-tick all but the body you are wanting, and it may well be worth ticking the feet, hands and hands beast as well if.

Now click the build option, you should now get the option asking you where you want to build the meshes to, this can be anywhere, even your desktop as long as there is not a directory called meshes already there, pick somewhere and hit build, now wait till it finishes.

Exit bodyslide and now go to where you build the meshes, zip up the meshes directory and install that as a new mod, chances are that should then sort out your problem.
