CTD near big cities

So I'm not one asking for help usually but i got myself a new computer not a long time ago and wanted to make a new skyrim installation on it.

 

I wanted to install some new stuff since i have now more powerfull components. There was a lot of problems at first, because i didn't realized i put the skse.ini in the wrong folder (was hell to find why it wasn't working)

 

It seems i've achieved something quite stable now but every time I approach a city (I only tested whiterun but i'm quite sure the others are similar) I ctd, I use Another life to loads the mods. I tried coc'ing near whiterun, ctd when I approach the gates, if i come from riverwood i ctd near the stables, and when i coc inside the inn i ctd when at the loading screen.

 

Here is my modwatch if it can help. Tell me if i need to provide anything else.

After trying to coc to Windhelm I could roam in the city without any crash. It seems it's a whiterun only problem.

First. Alternate Start LAL does not load the mods.

Second. Post your load order here not on a third party site.

Third. Are you using the stability tools? Crash Fixes, ENBoost (if not using an ENB) and SKSE Plug-in Preloader.

Fourth. Which mod manager are you using?

Here is my load order. It was sorted using loot

 

I'm using mod manager 2. I know AL doesn't really load mods. Just that I use it to try to avoid making a mess with the vanilla start.

 

I don't use either crash fix nor Enboost. I think I should I'll try them.

Use all three, they will get rid of 99% of CTDs.

 

Your load order looks very alphabetical.

I don't use MO/MO2 but make sure you are using the real LOOT from within MO2 and not the lite thing which came with MO. Then make your left pane order look like the right.

So i just installed crash fixes, and it fixed the crash, i do feel a bit stupid now. The load order do seems alphabetical but it really is LOOT.

 

I'll also put ENBoost just in case.

Do all three. All the users with a stable game use them. They are well-documented and highly recommended by all the Web 'experts'. How anyone in 2019 is not using them is beyond me.

I just never had the need for them before on my old pc, and much less mods.

 

Back a bit later trying to be sure it works, it seems the inside of Whiterun run smoothly. But when approahing the giant near the farms seems to still trigger a crash. I suspect an npc replacer but it seems it's quite a common crash with lots of various reason so i'll test stuff a bit more

Yes, a lot of people seem to have problems with that.
