Keroman Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 I've been trying to fix this issue for like the past two days now. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to modding but I've seen a lot of other threads with similar issues that I've been having but none of the solutions I've found have fixed my issue. All the characters are frozen in the a-pose and the animations aren't working but the sounds are playing. I don't know if this is an issue with FNIS or sexlabs or if its something else entirely. I just want to play a modded game and I'm pretty close to giving up due to frustration. Sorry for the typical clueless newbie post but I've tried everything I can think of.
Aylis Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 This should be FNIS. Check 'SKSE' and 'Physics' in 'Modlist' and maybe the entries for 'Animation' and 'Bodyslide' in 'Tips and Tricks' in my thread.

Guest Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 OK, lot of errors. Looks like you have a valid copy of the game. Just run it from Steam once. The looks like you are using a lot of mods that are not SSE (Skyrim Special Edition.) Let me see if I can find the right links for them: XPMSSE SexLab SE
Keroman Posted April 2, 2019 Author Posted April 2, 2019 So my mods just aren't compatible with SE? Also when installing XPMSSE does it matter which animation ring map you choose? I've left it on the default physics extension so far but I'm not sure if thats correct. Sorry for all the questions but I appreciate the assistance. Also tried running it from steam but the message telling me to run skyrim se through steam once is still showing up.
Keroman Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 So update. I found an old thread on skyrim forums from back in 2012 where a guy said that moving meshes out of the data folder and onto the desktop fixed the frozen characters. I figured it couldnt hurt to try so I did and it did unfreeze everyone. The only issue now is that the animations still wont play in fact now they wont even trigger.

Aylis Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Looks like you're mixing mods from LE and SE. Check this thread regarding updates for your mods and make sure you got the right SKSE for your gameversion.

Keroman Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 At this point I'm just confused. So I'm pretty sure I've downloaded all SE mod editions but FNIS generate user is still givinf messages telling me that my mods aren't skyrim compatible. >>Warning: Generator not run from a legal (Steam) Skyrim installation directory. Reading SexLabCreature V1.63 ... 1404 animations for 7 mods successfully included (character). 322 animations for 1 mods and 18 creatures successfully included.. 9 Warning(s). I've done everything right as far as I know so I'm still clueless as to what my issue is. I have SKSE64 so I don't think that's the issue but what do I know. I've ran skyrim through steam more than once at this point but the message (Warning: Generator not run from a legal (Steam) Skyrim installation directory. If you use SKSE, this can be fixed by starting Skyrim once through Steam) still shows up. Edit: I ran LOOT to organize my mod load order, ran FNIS user, and then started up from a save right before you create your character and it told me skse64 wasnt running which is weird because it should be. Maybe skse64 is the source of the issues? I can provide the contents of the error message if needed.
Aylis Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Forget the mods for a moment. Run Skyrim with the normal launcher (NOT through SKSE). Once you reach Helgen the game will have updated the ini's and that error will be gone. Then take a look at post #2 again…

Then take a look at post #2 again… sorry to be such a bother but when you say forget mods do you mean turn them off? Because currently all creatures and humans are frozen so when the opening of the game starts the horses arent moving the wagons so its impossible to get to helgen
Aylis Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Keep everything on, say OK to all error messages and let it run. If they freeze, wait ~2 minutes and the problem should be solved too. The game doesn't notice when you don't move at the start as this is scripted.
CrysisWar1234 Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Are you using mods from --->https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition and not --->https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim If what you downloaded wasn't a mistake then follow this guide to converting the animations within your file directory to the proper 64bit requirement. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2970 It's saves you the hassle if double check the mods you downloaded.

Horses where in the creature equivalent of a t-pose and the wagon was turned 90 degrees and clipping half way into the ground and didn't move from where it spawns at the beginning of the game.

I'm 99% sure all of my mods are se edition now. I've only got about 15 mods and most of them just have to do with animations. I'll check out the link when i get a chance.
Keroman Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 Skse64 doesnt give error me errors when i run skyrim through skse64 loader but everything else still has the same issues. All characters, creatures, etc are frozen. All of my mods are supposedly SE versions so i don't think they're an issue. I don't know what the problem is with FNIS but it has been the biggest headache by far. The only thing I can think of is that maybe i accidentally ran FNIS for modders when i first downloaded it and it might've corrupted files but thats stretching things a bit. Edit: Update. I was looking through the mod files under skyrim se in the steam apps folder and a lot of the mod files have tiny lock icons next to them. I looked it up and it says that means only i have access to the files though I'm not really sure if thats relevant at all to the current issues.

Keroman Posted April 5, 2019 Author Posted April 5, 2019 Ok first off I'd like to apologize to everyone who helped me for wasting your time. I'm such an idiot. I've been trying to run the 32 bit version of fnis that skyrim used rather than the 64 bit version that I installed and thought was currently running. So basically I was using skyrim fnis not se fnis. I haven't ran the game yet but I suspect this will solve all of my issues. I will be back if issues persist. Once again thanks for helping me out. edit: Everything is normal now but animations still wont play. I keep trying to test animations via irresistibly attractive on my character but they wont trigger and the same thing happens when I try it on npcs. I've looked at sexlab settings in game and it says its enabled so im very confused. Edit 2: I ran a test via sexlab in game menu and the animation played but animations still wont trigger via irresistible aura. All i get is a pop up notification in the corenr telling me this character has an irressistable aura about them but nothing happens.
