CBBE and Amazing Follower Tweaks

So AFT has a utility to set up to three outfits on your followers.  That's great, except that it's setting the body mesh on unequipped followers to be something other than CBBE Physics - it's not the default game mesh, they're still naked, but they don't have the physics, they don't have my BodySlide edits, and they don't have any additional in-game morphs applied from the any SexLab mods.  Equipped followers are fine, if the equipped armor/clothes are CBBE Physics compatible everything runs.  The PC and non-follower NPCs work in all cases as well.  I've tried digging into the raw scripts a bit but whatever madman coded AFT decided that they could use a hundred unlabeled scripts and it wouldn't be a problem.

 

Is this a problem for anyone else?  Is there a reasonable way to fix it besides editing AFT's .esp file?

 

Mod list in spoiler.  CBBE is 20 (33 in decimal), AFT is 4B (80 in decimal).  I've run Bodyslide on every outfit that it detected, with build morph enabled.

Without me bothering to download AFT to confirm, it's probably not that they're naked but that they're wearing invisible clothes. Try copying your female body NIFs from CBBE into AFT's meshes/clothes/tweaks/default.

Thank you for the suggestion.  I tried it, and now the followers have a higher-resolution (I think?  hard to tell) "naked" clothing equipped.  Better, I guess, but it's still not really working properly.  I even tried renaming the "default" folder in to "archive", thinking it would force it to load something else, and nothing changed.  Just in case it was an NPC loading thing I started a new save and no success with that, either.

create following folders and copy your installed meshes/textures into it:

 

data\meshes\clothes\tweaks\default for femalebody, femalefeet, femalehands nif files

 

data\textures\clothes\tweaks\default for the femalebody and femalehands dds files

 

those are the structures from the bsa of AFT and most likely, it should help you out there

Thanks for the suggestions!  I went back and thought about it, and realized that AFT wasn't the problem (or at least, not the *only* problem).  Bijin all-in-one replaces the meshes as well, but only with CBBE instead of CBBE Physics.  I just assumed that AFT was the cause, but Bijin happens to alter all of the followers.  Somehow, during loading, the game was using the Bijin meshes for "Warmaidens" but none of the other Bijin-altered NPCs, which threw me off.  I replaced all the textures and meshes in the Bijin subfolders and now things are all fine.
