Mrod23 Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 It appears that the SLA Monitor Widget has stopped working with the recent SSE update to 1.5.73 and SKSE 2.0.15. This is the SLA Monitor Widget from Skyrim LE that was always compatible as long as you managed the .bsa file correctly. As of today with only the SKSE dependencies updated (no new mods) the Widget no longer appears either on screen or in the MCM menu. SSEEdit shows the FormID at 43 but I didn't think that would matter. Creation Kit won't load it since it has 4 master file dependencies. Does anyone have any clues, or can whoever has the source update it for SSE? Thanks.

I checked all the available log files looking for traces and there was nothing. I can post the log0 file and my load order on request.
tasairis Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Use the MCM to make sure the widget is enabled, lower the threshold to 0 and remove any filters, have it recalculate arousal during the scan, and lower the scan interval to something short. Let it run for a few intervals. While that's going, find an NPC that you believe should show up and check their arousal level with 'n'. Then check the Papyrus log again, just in case. And just in case: you're sure that all your SKSE mods got updated? What does the SKSE log show regarding plugin loading?

The mod is checked in the load order but does not load. And yes, all my SKSE mods were updated correctly. Edit 3/21: I dissected my SKSE log and the only error found within was an unsupported DeviousDevices.dll, however Kimy hasn't updated that since last year and I don't believe it's involved since this all worked at 1.5.62. Another thing I noted is that SKSE reads the SLA_MonitorWidget_Translation_English.txt file but the .esp never makes it into the game and there is no MCM for it in SkyUI.

Tried the kicker thing/console command just in case? SKSE will only read translations if the owning ESP gets loaded, so that is happening. What does sqv SLAMMasterQuest produce in the console? Is the quest running? What stage? If all else fails you can always uninstall, make a new save, and reinstall. It's a simple mod, you won't break your game.

The output of sqv SLAMMasterQuest is a bunch of variable values and at the bottom: enabled? yes State: Running Stage: 0 Priority: 0 So, I uninstalled it, created a new save file, and reinstalled it, remembering to delete the incompat .bsa (LE) file in favor of the loose files I placed before. That fixed it. Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.
