CTD while attacking a creature/person

Hello,

I am experiencing random CTDs while attacking a spawn, whether it be a creature or person.

The weird thing is, it doesn't have to be me doing the attacking. The CTD can be caused by a wolf attacking a rabbit, for example.

The CTD used to happen right on attack (When a magic spell hits the target or a weapon makes contact) but recently, it can be caused by even putting my crosshairs on the target I wish to cast an offensive spell on, or shortly after combat has ended. Mostly still right on contact though.

I have immersive patrols installed and it absolutely kills me because the skirmishes between large numbers of stormcloaks and imperials are when my CTDs happen the most because of the shear number of contacts happening. 

I am pretty sure the contact is the instance when the CTD happens and not the death, because many of the spells I shot would not one-shot the spawns that caused me to CTD.

I did some research and it seems animation or sound mods could cause this, but I don't have any animation mods that would affect spawns and I think AOS is a pretty safe sound mod.

This didn't happen on my previous save where I didn't have requiem installed so requiem could be the cause, but I can't just remove that mod.

I would like to be able to solve this without removing any mods or starting a new save, if possible. 

Any ides on how to fix this?

It may not be and probably isn't any particular mod. It is more likely to be case of 'the straw that broke the camel's proverbial'. You have a lot mods and a lot of mods which add content. You also have Requiem which, as far as I'm concerned is more trouble than its's worth.

 

Are you using Crash Fixes, ENBoost/ENB and SKSE Plug-in Preloader? The three will stop 99% of CTDs but you probably have other problems with that load order.

 

You have 39 patches just in the last part, below XMPSE. Thirty-fucking-nine!  This includes patches for mods you don't appear to have.

 

You have ETaC, Dawn of Skyrim plus umpteen individual town/city overhauls.
