I used the Oracles disassembly to see how those images would fit. Din needed some edits in order to look close enough, and Nayru likely can't be done correctly without removing the waistband and some other things, so I'm leaving it unfinished for now.

I'll post a Seasons ROM if someone wants to finish the rest of Din's graphics.

Does anyone here have any ideas for which game would be ideal for a nude hack?

There's this game called Go Vacation for the Wii and rereleased for the Switch which could use a nude mod. I have tried to mod it before with Switch Toolbox, but it keeps crashing the program when I try to replace a model. If someone thinks they can offer a hand, I'm willing to listen.

Hola :]

Ehh, I'm working on a small mod for Rayman Origins 3DS, featuring a topless Betilla. I plan to do the same with the other fairies, but first I'm going to focus on Betilla.

Here's a preview for Azahar/Citra (It's not for patching; just paste it into the "load" folder and you're done). I'm planning a console version in the future.

I hope you like it!

Do you think it will work on real 3ds ? I will try it

edit: no it doesn't work at all

normally you have to put the file on "sd/luma/title/title ID (for europe its 000400000005A500) /romfs/folder where the file you want to replace is/

and put it here ... in the current state of the mod it didn't work at all

Hi, leave another folder after that one with the same ID; that's where you put the new textures to replace.

ps: only works for emulators

@daisy_lovers I've been doing some research, and it turns out Rayman Origins for 3DS has the Betilla textures packaged in containers I wasn't aware of. Also, that file is for emulators because the 3DS can't run .png files.

I'm going to work on a console version, but I don't have one, and I only have one friend who does, but he lives on the other side of town. Maybe I'll buy one; I just need the time to go to the few places that sell them in my city.

Wow nice... I didn't think anyone would try to put it into the game. But yeah there's probably some issues because I didn't take any tile or color limitations into account and naryu's feet are a weird area.

It looks like it has unique compression, so I can't do anything with it. There are certain GBA games with special compression formats like Golden Sun and Tomb Raider.

This handles the more common compression format that's in 90%+ of GBA games like Pokemon, Mega Man Battle Network, etc.

Hi! I came across this forum while searching on Google for mods and hacks for PlayStation Portable games. The topic of this thread caught my attention, so I decided to join and check it out. :classic_biggrin:

Lately I’ve been messing around with AetherSX2’s custom texture replacement settings and ended up making these textures for Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes.

I can’t post images yet since my account is still new, but I’ve included a Google Drive link with some screenshots. If someone could reupload them so everyone can see them directly, that would be greatly appreciated.

Inspired by @msrio's idea, I started working on a small Topless Betilla texture edit for the Wii version of Rayman Origins. I mainly did it to experiment with Dolphin Emulator’s texture dumping/replacement.

It’s still a work in progress, but once I finish Betilla’s textures I’ll share a download link :classic_wink:

can you do a x delta patch to patch the iso of the game and play it on a real wii ?

I’m still pretty new to texture replacement, so for now I’ve just been using Dolphin Emulator’s texture dumping/replacement features.

Because of that, I’m not really familiar with how to inject the textures directly into the .iso yet. :classic_confused:

@Catnatic say "

Creating XDelta patches for that needs an entire ISO file that's been modified along with the original unedited copy.
That requires having to:
- unpack the ISO,
- edit the game's assets directly to replace the textures/sprites which may require specific third party tools,
- and then repack the game assets with the edited textures into an ISO file.
The second part is very tricky to do which is why Dolphin's texture replacement feature is preferred. (But useless when you can mod the game way easily on the pc version)

Although if there's a homebrew software that does a similar thing, it could work on a real Wii if it exists."

You should ask to him if you want to try he know many thing about it

Thanks a lot for the advice, but I’m not really planning to modify games directly from the files for now.

I don’t know much about programming, which is why I mostly rely on emulator settings.

I’m mainly doing this as a hobby and to contribute a little to the scene. I enjoy experimenting with pixel art more than programming. :classic_happy:

These are really nice! Are all the sprites done for them or just these?

Those are the only ones done so far because I’m still figuring out how the texture replacement works in AetherSX2.

It only works on the character select screen right now. When I try using the option during gameplay, it dumps a lot of garbage sprites that aren’t useful for replacement.

How does it work? Does it have an alpha mask along that also needs to be edited? Does it dump all the sprites out for you and in what format?
