Does it dump all the sprites out for you and in what format?  In the emulator settings, under the graphics section, you need to enable the Load Textures option. Then, in the Hotkeys section, you can map a controller button to dump the textures in-game.  The textures are dumped in .png format, and they need to keep the same transparency as the original ones in order to work properly. From what I’ve tested, the transparency is usually around 50% to 55%.  I used this video as a guide: The basics of texture modding in PCSX2

Not sure why the combat sprites are hard to find though. I've had issues finding textures but usually they're just buried somewhere and hidden amidst a ton of random crap, although sometimes the files do come in weird formats like multiple copies of different RGBs/masks and other odd stuff. It's unfortunate if there's no way to get it to work for that game. If someone could find spritesheets that actually worked that would be fun to work on as a project. Edited March 22 by Nibbler2345 1
Nibbler2345 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 (edited) Well I was curious about it, and apparently this method ain't going to work because of some dynamic texture building thing it does to display on the ps2 version. Â Â Â Â Â With a different filtering mode you can see how the sprites are built up in blocks, and these blocks change constantly. Â Â Â The texture dumper, which works by tracking textures through hashes, probably can't work with these dynamic sprites as hashing isn't going to work on dynamically generated anything. That's too bad because I was looking forward to drawing some rogue, uh, elbows. Edited March 23 by Nibbler2345 1

I guess I’ll just stick to editing the menu sprites since those are the only ones that seem to work properly.  Once I finish, I hope I can find another 2D game where the animation textures dump correctly. Otherwise, I might have to learn how to make decent textures for 3D games.

I mainly did it to experiment with Dolphin Emulator’s texture dumping/replacement.  It’s still a work in progress, but once I finish Betilla’s textures I’ll share a download link  Betilla Topless Screenshots (Google Drive) It's looking great, I hope you can finish it :] 1

It’s still very simple, but it shows how it would look during actual gameplay.  I’m currently experimenting with pixel removal to make a completely naked version, which is why the fourth image looks cut in half. 1
PEPSIDUDE Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) Since you guys are talking about the PSP, I have an idea for a nude mod: Edited March 24 by PEPSIDUDE 2

MrZodiac21 Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Bleach: Heat the Soul (W.I.P.)  I really like this game’s anime-style look, and the bold, well-defined textures make everything easy to work with, so I decided to make a small edit to see how it looks in action.  I’m not planning to do all the female characters since I already have a few unfinished projects, but I’ll finish Orihime.  1
Nibbler2345 Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Yeah by the way if you're going to texture replace 3d models, it'll be a lot easier to choose someone with skin tight clothing, because one problem you run into is you can't edit the mesh so no matter how you shade it, it's going to look like she has one uni-boob there.

I’ve just been busy with other things lately.  6

jimmyrustler98 Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Would anyone be willing to add more mods or at least texture edits for Dissidia 012 for the PSP? There were a couple of texture edits in the past but I always wondered if full model edits would be in anyone's interests considering they've already done tons of SFW swaps.
Nibbler2345 Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Any chance anyone has Yaksha's sprites from the remake? I'm willing to edit them. Â Â Â 10
MrZodiac21 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 I'm still alive, just been pretty busy lately, so there haven’t been many updates.  But here’s some of what I’ve been working on in my free time.  Game: Ikki Tousen Eloquent Fist for the PSP.  10
Obligitury Posted April 18 Posted April 18 (edited) how about a game called Queens blade, spiral chaos on the psp? its a game about warrior ladies fighting each other and destroying all of their armor till their naked and cant fight anymore. breakable armor pieces are head, arms, legs, chest, and waist, tho I wonder how moddable this game actually is. cause modding those armor break parts would be neat to make nude. (or even down to panties if the girl has em) Edited April 18 by Obligitury 4
