A number of technical questions on slavetats, scripting, EC+

Core Problem: With EC+, I can't tell quite when the birthing event is going to start, and would rather not be looking at MCMs/menus to detect this.

Potential solution: A magic effect via either glow shader or slavetat that gives a visual indication that birthing is imminent (say, 3-4 hours out).

Things I don't know how to solve:

1) Effect shader works, and while I'm not satisfied with the look yet, there's no sense working on it if the other attendant issues aren't solved first.  Problem is that it also applies to the throat area, which I don't want.  Is there any way to make the shader show  up only on the body and ignore other body parts? Didn't see anything in CK documentation for this, so I am assuming no, but maybe someone has a clever workaround.

2) Attempting to use slavetats for this, I can't find a simple option for applying the effect with an attached glow.  The "simple_add_tattoo" option doesn't seem to have a glow setting, and the rest of the documentation for it is way over my head.  I also can't see a way to use this without adding slavetats' esp as a dependency, and none of the script examples I've found indicate this, either.

3) Within Estrus Chaurus there seems to be a condition function that looks for belly node scaling as a determinant for some encumbrance effects, but a) it doesn't seem to work, and b) the variable the condition is looking for appears to be unfilled in the save data of my game. That being the case, how can I detect when the incubator is about to pop? Looking only for belly scaling would likely conflict with any other mods affecting it, and the code within EC+ is -- again -- way over my head. Ideally, I'd like to have whatever effect is applied amplify as the birthing gets closer, go into overdrive during the birth and slowly fade out during birth until it is gone.  An advantage of using the effect shader is the attendant sound effects that can be heartbeat, slime noises, etc, but it wouldn't be too hard to do this with the slavetats option too, if only I can figure a way to detect this (T minus 3 hrs and counting, T minus 5 minutes, etc).

Solved 3, which I should have noticed previously: there is a faction rank that escalates through the process.

Thanks to any people who can answer any of these questions.
