Converting animation?

Hello,

 

Is it possible to convert a sneak animation to be used as default "non sneaking" animation?

(Trying to use a cat like sneak animation as default walk animation for my kahjit).

 

I tried renaming all the animation files from sneak_idle to mt_idle... etc.

But Skyrim doesn't like me when I do that and won't show me the game menu anymore xD

(Works normal again after reverting the change)

 

Is it even possible to convert animations that way?

Or how could I achieve this?

 

EDIT: wow, figured it out xD had a typo in there

works now (yes it's literally converting the animation names)
