chrisjoci Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Yesterday I went to play Sims4 and had to update the game. Now almost all the mods I have disappeared. I did see it said the mods were moved, but how do I find them? should I uninstall everything in the mods folder and start over from scratch?
Redd99 Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Are your mods still in the folder or have they been moved? Also, after a update you always have to go to the settings menu and enable mods again.

Redd99 Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Strange! I've never heard of this happening. I normally move my mods folder elsewhere as recommended before updating though. You could always try searching your hard drive for one of the missing mods.
Scorpio Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Did you actually check to make sure the mods box is checked in the Sims 4 game settings? If yes, then use explorer to find the Mods folder. User/My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/ Mods/files
Mashee Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 All my object mods are fine, but my script mods arent working, including WW. Anyone else? Edit: I deleted the mods file and reinstalled the mods. Still didn't work. I reinstalled the game. Still didn't work. I reset the game to factory settings, and YAY! It worked again. Not sure where the problem was, tho.

chrisjoci Posted February 26, 2019 Author Posted February 26, 2019 I know where the mods folder is. They show up there, and when I start the sims they are listed.. When the game starts it says some mods were removed. I'll post a screen shot. I think I know the mod that is the issue.
Scorpio Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 It's just the normal warning when you delete cc objects and reload game. Once you save the game it won't show up again, unless you delete more of course. Unless this was from when your mods went missing all of a sudden by accident. Usually when you update the game it will warn you about mods being disabled before you get to this warning screen. That is when you go into the game settings and re-enable the mods checkbox, then exit and restart. Post your latest LE here.
