Despite using both Males of Skyrim and Bijin AIO it is only the companions being affected. (In the author-suggested Order) Bijin Wives.esp Bijin Warmaidens.esp Bijin NPCs.esp Delete/disable Bijin AIO. ((IF this is the Patch-File, if not, im not sure about deleting/disabling, try it anyways)) Run Loot. Get ingame and have a look, should be fixed now. Had the same Problem with brown faces a while ago. This^ fixed it for me and a friend of mine

Moving Bijin AIO and Males of Skyrim to the very bottom of my load order (below even the bashed patch) "fixes" the issue. Problem is they do not retain the changes made by Immersive Weapons as a result. Can't seem to find a patch for this either unfortunately. Don't suppose you have any idea how one would go about patching the two themselves? I know it can be done as there is a patch for the SSE versions of these mods.

Maybe reinstall the Immersive mod after everything else and let it overwrite - then move it to the bottom of the loader or let LOOT do that for you instead. Sounds like a loadorder problem. not sure tho. thought you had the same problem i had. If this isn´t going to fix the issue, i dunno what could. But judging from your List, you were not using loot recently, or am i mistaken ? If its a loadorder problem, loot should fix it. If loot can´t fix it, id say there is an incompatibility

The OP has it right as the AiO is a replacement for the three individual esps. I can't see how Immersive Weapons would cause grey face which affects only the Companions. There is something not right about that load - every other esps is a patch.
RW311 Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Immersive weapons adds the weapons to some of the companion npc's inventory which means the cosmetic data is also in that mod and would cause a conflict with any other mod that changed them. You just have to load the npc overhaul last but to have also the weapons added you would need to make a patch since it is not a lvl list item.

I personally have never found a need for so many patches or had any problems with level list items (whatever they are).

If loot can´t fix it, id say there is an incompatibility I actually did use Loot. Had to move a couple things around for compatibility's sake though. Seems I sort of solved the issue though. It was Immersive Weapons causing the issue (and my bashed patch as a result). After using TES5Edit to remove the changes to the Companions by Immersive Weapons and rebuilding my bashed patch the problem is gone, albeit at the cost of losing the new weapons for those characters. Worth it though seeing as I wouldn't know where to begin with making a patch. Thanks to everyone who offered help with the issue. One of the reasons I love this site and its community far more than Nexus.

Yeah, there are quite a few incompatibilities with the mods I use that require patches. Particularly RS Children doesn't like playing well with others. Was actually causing CTDs in a few major cities prior to some of those patches.
