MissPenelope Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 I am using a fatgirl repack of the Sims 4 (pirated version of the game). Wicked Whims will not work. I've been trying to get this mod to work for days now. I have script mods enabled in settings. I have tried redownloading the mod multiple times. The naked models do appear, however, the prompt for Wicked Whims does not appear when selecting anything. I have a bunch of different animations downloaded as well. Wicked Whims and all of my animations do appear in the list of custom content in game. I'm not sure if the reason for the mod to not work is because I am using a pirated version. I have read everywhere that Wicked Whims does work with pirated versions of the game. Is this really the case? I am creating this thread as a last resort, I have watched multiple tutorials, they all tell me the same thing. Nothing works. If anyone can tell me a solution I'd be extremely grateful. I am not exaggerating when I say I have been working on getting this mod to work for days.

Wicked Whims, especially the newest version, will only work with the latest update. Now I know you can't update the game by normal means but if you look around you'll find an outside source to update pirated Sims 4. The newest update version is 1.49.65.1020, I think you can find your version in a txt document in the same folder where the mods folder is in near the Last Exception errors are

I can't seem to find one with that version. The crack version I currently have is v1.41.38.1020. Are you sure that this is what causing the problem? I imagine if this was the problem, I wouldn't be able to have any features of the mod.
PutuPisReal Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Visit Tech Creed on YouTube, you can find all the updates there because your game update is very old, if you don't have the DLC's you can download them from there also. Yes, your game needs updating very badly
MissPenelope Posted February 21, 2019 Author Posted February 21, 2019 I've downloaded the latest version, but I don't know which to directly to download it in? I keep getting an error message stating "installing of this update is not possible in the selected directory."
PutuPisReal Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 You got the black prompt box correct? make sure it's on the hard drive, every time I add a new update it always gets targeted to my recovery drive (D:). Make sure it's in C drive and in the Sims 4 GAME directory, not where the mods are

PutuPisReal Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 There are two separate folders for Sims 4. the game folder is where ever you've installed it at and the mods in the Documents. Are you still having the same problem?

PutuPisReal Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Let me tell you what I did when I updated my copy of Sims 4, I think it was the same copy as yours. Rather than nit pick I downloaded the All In One pack, which has EVERYTHING but sometimes doesn't have the current Update. I ran the quick installer and choose to install all the updates and dlc. If I didn't have the current update I checked Tech Creed and get it from there. I did have Wicked Whims problems before the update and someone told me I was playing an outdated version. So i scoured the internet and found Tech. It took awhile but I got it running, and after that I had to restructure my Mods folder and find what belonged and what needed to be deleted.
PutuPisReal Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Do you have a desk top short cut for your Sims 4 game? right click it and choose open file location. It will have The Sims 4/Game/Bin make sure you are trying to update to the The Sims 4 folder not the Game or Bin folders

tidaleach Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Same thing happened to me. I spent three days trying to do just the patch and I ended up redownloading the entire game from nmac that already had the patch in it. Save yourself the headache and just update your mods after install.
MissPenelope Posted February 21, 2019 Author Posted February 21, 2019 I've decided to just delete the Sims 4 and reinstall it then update it. My downloads were everywhere, which is why it was so hard to find the directory. Hopefully reinstalling it will also fix my problem with Wicked Whims.

I just reinstalled it so I know for a fact I am updating it in the right path. I am still getting the same error message though. I downloaded a simple No Intro (a package mod) and it seems to have worked.

Next you also need to download some Animations for WW to work. Grey Naya Azmodan22 MOTHERLOADSIMS Mike24 Many others are also available. Make a new folder in Mods named Wicked Animations and put them all into that folder after extracting them. The only interaction for WW is in the Romantic menu when you click on another Sim and select 'Make a Move'. It replaced the old 'Have Sex' interaction. Everything else is done by clicking on an object like a Bed or Sofa and selecting the Sim, and then pick the Animation. (This is for Manual Sex only) Normally WW Autonomy keeps Sims busy without using the optional Manual Mode. Wicked Settings > Sex Settings > Autonomy Settings > Autonomy Intensity: Extreme (This setting should get WW working better and more frequently as it lowers the cooldown timers for more frequent Sex Autonomy) If you don't like a certain Animation playing just pause the game & shift+click on a Sim during that animation and select Wicked > Sex > Disable Animation. You won't see it ever used again. If you want to disable a Sim from Autonomy shift+click on sim and Select Wicked > Sex > Disable for Autonomy. (Do this when Sims are not having Sex)
