Has prostitution, animated sex, quests revolving around adult content and all that jazz. Also has the entire world in an anachronistic mess of cultures, more subsystems than you can shake a stick at and system reqs higher than a good few modern games, so bear that in mind if you manage to dig it out. The error is "hash vector failed at index 0"
Huskarl27 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 It's been a long time since I touched it, but it was either the first or second mega link that was the main module, with the rest being updates. The main module on it's own seemed to work well enough when it wasn't crashing every 3 steps, but I didn't get as far as messing with the updates. In regards to any and all errors, honestly it's a crapshoot. The engine really isn't meant to do the majority of whatever the guy did, and it shows. He also coded in some really odd bits that intentionally cause crashes if there's anything remotely like cheating. I'm not even kidding on that one, so it could be any number of things. Worst case, I can try uploading the one I still have in my modules folder on mega. It 'should' still work, I think.

When I was looking up more info on this there seemed to be a lot of complaints about stability and other bugs, so yeah...

souldead341 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Yeah, I've messed around with this for a couple of hours and character tries now, and it's not great from what I've seen. You always start with some clothes, and an ax, moving to a new city with your family. Then you're attacked by "enemies", your father and mother killed, sister and mother raped. After that you get a few choices for what you want to do. The only option that it seems remotely possible to do anything is to be a warrior, since then you're a soldier with the lord of the group you choose during char creation, and get a wage (you get basic infantry gear and choose more advanced gear as you level up, or can purchase your own if the lord you're stuck following goes to a city). All the equipment and recruits are expensive as hell, and I was never able to find any bandit groups I could actually win against, even when I had superior numbers. I can also attest that the dev was obsessed with you not cheating in the mod. If you have cheats enabled in the game, as say you want to cheat during character creation it goes back to the start menu. He also fucked with the export / import option. If you export your character it removes all their money and gear, and you cannot import a character. As for the adult content, there's a prostitute that gives dances or blowjobs in each tavern, and female characters leading an army can boost moral by fucking their soldiers. Other than that, there's nudity and nothing else I've found yet. He also messed with things like the recruitment (which is good in this case) and battle commands (bad). Recruitment is done at any city or castle, and you can recruit any of that group's units, if you have the cash and available "training points", so you can get good troops right away rather than having to train them up. He decided that the F1-F5 keys were no good for battle commands, and doesn't let you use them. instead you have to use a battle overview, which is decent, or the t, y, and u keys. Also, he fucks with your difficulty settings. in an attempt to make it easier to be a mercenary band I initially tried reducing the AI and damage to the easiest settings. It resets them anytime you load a save (and possibly anytime you change maps at all).

Even a delivery a town away is worth 2-3 grand, though Freelancer is always good for getting some combat experience in as well and getting rep with that lord and faction. Armor and weapon values are inflated, so even lower tier troops have some survivability and damage output. Just like native or most mods, archers on a hill with a strong infantry line with you and a few cav. running interference works like a charm. Winning tournaments can actually get you unique rewards, so that's a thing. The number of quests and jobs is heavily expanded, though I didn't manage to see most of them. If you get one to deal with a rebel hideout, don't go without 50+ troops. It's an actual fortification with something like 100-200 bandits. The naval battles are confusing, and fucking up there will get you an immediate loss. The vast majority of the subsystems, religions, etc. are a mystery to me as far as their impact on gameplay. Stuff like finding ruins and all that sounds neat, but I never could get far along without crashing or fps slowing to a crawl to see what was what. On adult content: Did get touched on a bit, but prostitutes also offer full on sex, which is animated. Female pc's can solicit npc's in town scenes (maybe castle and village, not sure yet), and have options with lords that I never did get to. 'Supposedly' there is rape on loss, but I have no idea what triggers it. Some of the quests are sexual, most obvious one being rescuing kidnapped village women and coming into a bandit hideout scene where they're all being raped by said bandits, another involving female tavernkeepers and rowdy mercs, probably other ones I've missed. There's some mild transformation stuff in the form of special items you can buy, but those are purely breast/dick size. I'm pretty certain there's more I'm forgetting. If it weren't for the technical issues, this would arguably be one of the more impressive mods around even without the tiny bit of adult content, it's just that dense when it comes to features.
souldead341 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I've played a fair bit more. And I really think that freelancing to get some xp and about 10-20k gold is the way to start. Female characters can have sex with the male merchant npcs as well as non-king lords when in the hall, though it's a bit of a crapshoot if they'll say yes. You can also hire one (I at least could never get a second one) prostitute as a camp follower to boost the group moral. If you do the talk to companions a female player can choose a troop to have animated sex with. As for all the other things put in, each unit has a religion with moral changes over time depending on if it matches the PC's religion. There's also a "culture system" which seems to be a boost system for various aspects of your holds. One big negative for me is that for some reason every bandit leader is basically on par with a king in terms of health, armor, and damage output. This makes it basically impossible to beat any bandit encounter early on without a massive amount of skill or luck.

It seems like there's only really two unique animations in the mod, cowgirl and doggy. Three, if you count the almost spit-roasting when you see the bandits doing women during the rescue mission. I've only seen three sexual quests so far, the above mentioned Rescue Women from the Bandits, clearing up a fight in the tavern where you see some mercs have forced the tavern keeper to dance while naked and if you're playing a male, one of the possible jobs you can accept from the Bandit Leaders is raping the female Tavern Keeper in a city. Also while playing a male, there's an option when wandering the streets to convince a female merchant to accept money to strip or for sex, but it won't always succeed compared to when you ask the prostitute. There's also the option for raping the merchant.

Also, I'm not sure why this is, but my female character has something like 28 INT, and can't read any of the books I got from book merchants. I also can't use them at the library. Anyone else know why this might be?

Did this quest today - really easy, just go into the specified village and talk to 3 random female villagers. A command should tell them to "go away where someone wants to meet them". After which, your quest will label as complete, and you'll have them in your party. In your party, you can talk to them and request a blowjob. You can also request (i'm assuming) sex, but no cutscenes appear for that, and you lose reputation for it. I wouldn't recommend doing it. Overall, not much adult content for this particular quest chain.
souldead341 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 After going for a fair bit longer I actually managed to get a couple of actual companions (from the pink locations that are scattered around the map). You can ask for sex from a female companion, or a female character can give blowjobs to male companions for friendship. You also can't access the companion's equipment because "They don't know you".

I've been trying all sorts of stuff but I can't figure it out. Edit: I managed to get one party member with 200 renown, or at least, I think that's the key to doing it... still can't access other pink villages.

Once it's high enough you can visit her whenever you go to the town she's in. Gift her Velvet and read her appropriate poems to get her disposition high. After that, there's a mini game of foreplay - followed by one of the 3 regular sex scenes (which you get to choose).

souldead341 Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Yeah, you and all the NPCs keep whatever gear you have normally, so you need to be really good or lucky AND have decent, lord level gear yourself. You also lose all your ammo, so it's a nice fuck you to archers. One suggestion I have is to try and target the lords early on so they get eliminated in group fights rather than one on one. The best way I have to deal with them is to be one foot, and either wait until the lord's horse is stuck on the wall or in a herd of horses, and attack from behind or use your horse as cover to stop the lord's charge, than hit him while the horse is rearing. The horses are immortal in tournaments, so the NPCs will always be mounted, and the horse you use for cover never dies.
