Why won't humanoid sexlab animation work on Atronach?

Skeletons.

The backbone where you create your animations for.

They have entirely different skeletons then humans, and that's basically the only reason. I've looked into them myself and they have a lot of differences with the human skeleton. For a regular player you would see similiar skeletons, but for people who create animations it's a difference as big as a horse and human skeletons.

So animators would have to either create atronach specific animations, or you can downloade a replacer somewhere that removes flame atronachs all together and replaces it with a human npc. (I have no idea if a mod like this exists though)

Animations are based on skeletons, and atronachs do not have human skeletons.  They have there own skeletons, so they require their own animations.  Same with draugrs and skeletons - they don't share the human skeleton so they have to have their own animations.  Someone who makes animations may be able to give a more in-depth answer.

And one of the animators just ninja'd me...

Thought I could actually be of help here with my knowledge on this subject.

What are the things that need to be done for the flame atronach to have a perfect human skeleton?

Not possible, like I said earlier. In order to do this you'd need to completely remove the flame atronach somehow and replace it with random human npc's. But then there are no atronachs anymore and you'd be better of choosing a human sex partner in game anyways.

I want to make a model and rig it with the human skeleton, but I want to copy the flame atronach model, so help me here.

I'd guess the easiest method to do accomplish what you want is to import the flame atronach model into 3ds max or maya or even blender, then completely remove everything skeleton related to it so it's just a loose mesh, cut the meshes in different pieces and export them as armor pieces and helmet which you can wear in game. With that method you'd have the pieces as equippable items in game.

Unfortunately I can't help you with this, I'm not experienced at all with armor pieces exporting and getting them to work in game. There are a lot of tutorials to find about this though. (although even if you get this to work, you will probably get horribly stretching with the armor in game since it's not created for the human skeleton).

Wait, what if I made a model from scratch? How difficult would it be then? Why do you need to turn it into an armor?
