Lupine00 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 I uploaded a new version of my mod, using the upload a new version action. Now, I can't delete the old version file, or the link to it. The new file and link show at the bottom of the update details pane. If I erase the link and delete the file (with the delete button), it appears to work, but when I save, it simply comes back again. I'm pretty sure I managed to delete a different version, earlier, but it seems not to work now. What am I doing wrong?
gregathit Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Please either post in the tech support section or PM a moderator. Keep in mind, you may be seeing a cloud version. Meaning you need to wait 20-30 minutes for the old version to completely disappear. Moved to tech support.
Lupine00 Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 No. I'm not seeing a stale cloud version. I can conclude this because the other changes I make to the text for the release (that is the text specific TO the release, not the general mod info) updates as expected and reflects my current changes, but no matter what, it gains two links at the bottom when I save it. One link is the file for the new version. The other is the old one, which I had just deleted (via the delete function in that edit page), and also deleted the link for in the text (which has returned). Also, after several hours, there has been no change in what I see. I'll have another go tomorrow, and get screenshots. Maybe it's some obscure intended behaviour, because the new release is a "point release" ... e.g. Previous version is: 13 New version is: 13.2
gregathit Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Are you making the edits to this page: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/7589-sexlab-disparity/ If you edit the support page, it won't stay, as the support page is a duplicate of the above. Also, are you talking about the links at the very bottom? Or the download? When I click the download button, the only version that is there is the 13-2 one.
