Reepa7 Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 View File What does it do? Invisible armor piece (slot 32 Main Body) that gives 150% magicka regen How to get open console and type: help "naked regen" then you know the drill. player.additem xxxxxxx 1 Made this because I couldn't find anything simple like it although I'm sure something like this is out there in other mods. I felt like if my character wasn't wearing any main armor then she should have some sort of a buff. That's all there is. No big deal, easy to make but hope it helps with you mages out there who don't like clothing ? ArieWasTaken Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 What an outrageously simple yet great idea! I didn't know I needed this, but apparently I do, haha. 1
Storms of Superior Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 I had been wondering if it would be a good idea to do this with the Apocalypse mod; it may be as simple as making an esp file that deletes the robe when it's worn, but there is still something that the player is wearing. It's just a broader scale of the same concept you've already presented. 1
karlpaws Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 If someone wanted to work further on something like this, Kendo2 made a mod a while back that works but he's not modding Skyrim anymore and you could probably pick it up. Game Goblin is the current maintenance/owner of the thread here. As it currently exists, there are somewhat lore base crafting recipes for each of the college mage robe effects but you could just as easily use the AddItemMenu mod or console to get one. While these are not armor types nor do they use an actual slot that's an easy change if you wanted to do so. 1
Reepa7 Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 Yeah I figured there was something like this out there. I just wanted the choice of either wear Light/Heavy armor with weak or no enchantment, or wear nothing {although it needs to take up slot 32 so there's no cheating } and get a nice little buff.
karlpaws Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 what you wanted to do is very simple and easy to do but with the other mod being mothballed of sorts for a while I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else was interested as well. The advantage of the other mod is the items are already created with the relevant perks and enchants on them. The downside is without a body armoraddon, so you can't just make them use the body slot without adding one.
Prometeus5879 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 As a naked player you can also use Dibellan Defander. That mod uses no armor but SlaveTats and isn't for magic buffs alone. It's also easier to combine Dibellan Defender with mods that don't allow you to wear armor.
