Is there no Morrowind jiggly mod?

Didn't know where to put this, since there is no Morrowind section. So guess it goes here.

But is there no jiggly mod for Morrowind? I know its old. But even oblivion had a jiggly mod. And as far as I know, bethesda used the same physics engine since morrowind? Unless it started with Oblivion and I remembered wrong. But I've looked and looked, and nothing like HDT or BBP or anything seems to exist for morrowind. Is it named different, am I blind or am I stuck with a nude but static body :(

Hate to say it but I think it's a combination of too old an engine to work with and nobody wanting to make sex mods for a game with that level of graphics when Oblivion and Skyrim exist.

Well yeah morrowind is pretty old. But tbh, I think modded morrowind characters (actually I think even vanilla morrowind characters) look 1000x better than potatoheads. No amount of mods made characters look good in oblivion lol. Maybe thats just a personal thing and someone likes them more than morrowind. But the characters were a pretty big downgrade for me than morrowind. And to me, I think my modded Morrowind looks about as good as Oblivion (without mods) tech wise, its pretty hefty mod setup.

Skyrim modded characters look amazing though, and my #1 favorite of any game mostly because with mods I can design characters I always wanted to make in games. I made so many amazing skyrim characters, and it is newest elder scrolls so its more advanced.

But yeah morrowind is old...its surprising that mods are STILL even made for morrowind after all these years.

Morrowind didn't have havoc physics or anything similar, everything that wasn't a whole person or creature was completely static unless it had a very specific activator, like the occasional dwemer crank door or a sign blowing in heavy wind.  Bodies in Morrowind were made up of static building block parts that were basically assigned positions for the skeleton to wear them on, only parts I can think of that ever moved was faces (eyes and mouths) and hands (fingers).  Even the amazing mods I've seen that revolutionize Morrowind's visuals and environments only add moving creatures and npcs, but then it's been so long since I used any of them something may have changed.  The point is moving pieces isn't something Morrowind had in abundance, and making body physics like that work would require a skeleton and probably game engine that works completely differently if you're hoping for something on par with HDT.  Oblivion was closer since it's bounce tech was basically specific additions to other animations.  Walking animation causes this kind of bounce, jumping causes that kind, and all were made with certain bodies in mind.  Could potentially work for Morrowind I guess, if you make it work the way mouth movements are handled or something do but I'd still bet trying to get the skeleton and textures to play nice would be a nightmare.  Sorry, but if I had to guess I'd say it's just far too much work trying to get it to function in a game built the way it was.

Ah ok, thanks for the info. Yeah that sounds like kinda too much work, for a game that is too old. So the mod probably really wouldn't get enough attention to begin with to be worth it. I dunno how much morrowind is played, but that be a ton of work if it was even possible.

Morrowind's got what you'd call a devoted fanbase, like me for instance.  I love the game, it's my favourite TES title.  In fact, I barely mod it because I just like the Morrowind experience so much.  I don't play it a whole lot these days, but every once in a while I look around to see what new mods people have made, few though they tend to be.  I could talk at great length about it and have, for the sake of my friendships, made the conscious decision to talk about it as little as possible with people that aren't as enthusiastic about it as me.  And that's kind of what the Morrowind fandom is now, from what I can tell, just a solid handful of fanatics and the occasional Skyrim player that wanted to try earlier games and somehow found they liked it.  The most popular modern mods that AREN'T Tamriel Rebuilt or something equally big and famous will hardly get much attention on the nexus, maybe there's somewhere else you can go with them these days but I can't think of where they'd be more recognized.  Morrowind isn't the medium to go for if you want a wide audience, sadly.

Why bother Morrowind when Morrobvilirim (The fan remake of TES3+4+5) would support all the modern modding functions?

BECAUSE TES3 ELITISTS LIKE ME WOULD SOONER EAT THEIR OWN HANDS THAN PLAY MORROWIND'S STORY IN ANOTHER GAME

But in all seriousness, there's just something about the feel of that one that wasn't replicated in later games.  Like the clunkiness of the game was so unique to it that it felt like part of the experience.  After all, I have yet to fall through an imperceptibly small seam while jumping around in an interior in any other TES game (shoutout to Balmora mages guild's ramp, it's got me more than once, sometimes fatally).  In other words, you want to play Morrowind itself, but a little jiggle might be appreciated while you do.
