Actually I had no problems before, but after installed these modes, it started to close even though I opened a new game. First, if you CTD prior to seeing the main screen then you are likely missing some master. Run LOOT and correct any errors and try again. If you get to the Main Menu and hit "New" and you CTD you probably are trying to load too many animations. Cut back on your animation packs and try again. In the second case, if you want to post your FNIS output here it is easy to calculate if you are over your animation limit. This is what you get when you run FNIS and should begin with a description of your skeleton and end with the number of animations you successfully loaded.

I read what you said the first time. However, consider that there are thousands of people using the DD series WITHOUT having your problem. So, we need to discover why YOU are having the problem (my game, for instance, works just fine with those mods). So, once again, WHEN does your game fail. Do you not even see the main menu (where the logo appears)? If so, then run LOOT (the Load Order Optimisation Tool). If you don't already have it you can find it with a quick Google search or you can go to my blog and use the link found there (the link to my blog is found in my signature below). LOOT is simple and intuitive. You will have no problem using it. If it shows any errors (like missing masters) correct them and then run LOOT again until it shows no errors. Then, try to start your game again. Do you see the main menu and fail to start when you hit "New"? If so, you probably have too many animations. Run "Generate FNIS for Users". Then copy the text that it produces (it should begin with a description of your skeleton and end with the number of animations that you successfully loaded) and paste it here on this thread.

You have too many animations, although not tremendously more than you could get by with. Choose one animation mod (like Leito Furniture or Anubs Human or one of the many FunnyBiz packs) and disable it. You should then be able to start your game.
kapete Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Its not generally recommended to have more than 10000 animations in fnis list even with XXL version. It can cause some crashes atleast but clearly there's more that that in this case.

I expect that you still have over the 10k "limit" which was the old teaching. And I'm glad to hear you're running. If you want, I take my thanks in "likes". That the green thumbs up button found in the lower right hand corner of any post (it is grayed out until you scroll over it and click it). By the way, you can also like mods here on LoversLab (LL). Go to the place where you would download the mod. Go to the bottom right hand corner of that post and click it. It is a good way of showing appreciation and giving a recommendation.
