Bixu81 Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Hi, I wonder if someone could help me out with this. I have a problem where I'm able to use sexlab animations on some characters but not others. From what I've seen, I'm able to do it to all the original characters, and some of my installed mod followers, but there seem to be quite a few mod followers that just don't respond. The animation tries to start but then nothing happens. Anyone has any idea what might be causing this? Thanks in advance.

The most likely cause would be that your "special" followers have "special" skeletons. If the character that is supposed to be an actor in SexLab does not have the correct skeleton they simply stand around and watch.

There are a number of tutorials out there that will show you how to convert a custom race to CBBE (or whatever you are using). As far as the other animations are concerned they do not require SexLab and SexLab requires an XPMSSE skeleton for it's animations of humanoids.

That's the green thumbs up button that can be found in the bottom right hand corner of a post. It is grayed out until you scroll over it. Just click it. By the way, you can also like mods here on Loverslab. So, if you find a mod that you particularly like or would recommend to others go to the page where you download it, find the "like" button at the bottom of the page and click it.
Bixu81 Posted January 30, 2019 Author Posted January 30, 2019 Well the body part didn't fix the sexalb issue, I'm able to switch bodies without a problem. I am however having a hard time finding that there are issues with custom races in sexlab, and ways to fix it.
Psalam Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Somehow your changing of the body must not have changed the skeleton (since THAT is the issue). Using Search I found this. It is a bit "higher level" but might give you the result for which you are looking:

Yes I am using Sexlab Light, I thought that was the only Skyrim Special edition version available. I never heard of a specific spell to add any custom race to it, its not mentioned in the offical thread and I can't seem to find it in game.
