Sets00na Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 I just made a small discovery, you can use your creation club mods into Skyrim. Apparently, the scripts of the mods works with oldrim, the only problem is the meshes. I tried first with the Champion's tunic mod for SSE and it worked very well. The issue started when I decided to experiment the knights of the nine and ruin's edge mod. For what I can say is that Oldrim identified the scripts for the enchantment of the gear and effects also the description. the only problem were the meshes. It only appears the missing mesh sign when you try to equip the armor or weapon, but bessides that, no crash so far. For the quest involving them, I haven't tried them yet (IRL job taking a lot of my time). Just wanted to share this information with the community for future mod porting.
Sets00na Posted January 19, 2019 Author Posted January 19, 2019 New info and forgot to mention, the mod only works if you decompress the .bsa file if not the mod wont load.
SmedleyDButler Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Maybe running the meshes through Outfit Studio would work? Or if they're just SE meshes, I believe there's a backporting tool for that now? There's several ports of the Champion's Tunic already, by the way.

I tried searching for backporting methods before but didn't found anything. For the outfit studio thing, it will for clothing yes but not for the weapons (I think).
