The stripes are a problem with RE Engine and seem to happen with (most) external light sources. I noticed them in RE7 as well. The light from the gameplay camera, for example, does not ever cause it. Try installing the freecam mod (RE Framework) and running around a dark area with the flashlight toggled off to see the camera light at full brightness. The only way I know of to mostly get rid of it is by turning the shadows up to max, and even then you can still see it like this: Spoiler External light: No stripes (by camera light): I also disable contact shadows because they produce self-shadows that look really snowy and dithered. And speaking of graphics, make sure you turn off screenspace reflections because they are generally terribly implemented in this game and create more artifacts than valid reflections.

I need to try a Mod on the Classic Jacket of Claire, but I do not have that vanilla outfit available in the game. I guess it's a reward when you finish the game or something, but I'm just starting it. ☹️
