Santr Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Is there a way to make OOO spawn creatures with "parts" still attached? Just ran into a dongless minotaur, and I think that's because OOO uses its own meshes for its spawns (unless I'm mistaken?).
gregathit Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Actually this has very little to do with OOO. By default creatures are dongless whether they be vanilla or OOO or MMM. When having sex with the creatures, lovers creatures swaps out there body to use an "armor" (alternate body) that has a dong. If you want dongs only for sex on creatures, then leave things alone. Now if you want creatures running around with dongs, then you need a mod like sexualized creatures: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=13487

If so then open minotaurarmor.nif and minotaurLordarmor.nif which are the two armors that lovers creatures "equips" when the minotaur has sex. Check that they have a cock. Edit: I think I see the problem. The Minotaurlordz.nif is indeed a custom creature nif that OOO adds (it is a white Minotaur right?). The only way I know of to "easily" fix this is to upload a minotaurlordz.nif that has a cock. The only problem is that it would run around "in game" the whole time with the erect cock and not just during sex. To get it to display ONLY during sex would require modifying things in lovers creatures so it saw and recognized the OOO added creature. No small task.

But the minotaur I saw was a brown one, with one broken horn. Still, minotaurs running around with raging boners won't bother me (I'll just pretend they're in rut or something), so maybe I could just try replacing OOO's mesh with the LoversCreatures' mesh? I'll try that and report back.

The funny thing is the minotaur lords that OOO adds are white furred so I think we can safely rule out OOO as being the culprit here.

Aaand that appears to be just the case' date=' since after swapping the meshes that same minotaur is still dongless (he's spawned near Lipsand Tarn, in case it matters). Is there something else in my load order that could be causing this?
gregathit Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Go up to him and hit the console and click on him. You should see his name (creature type) and 8 digits. Note the 1st two digits (could be numbers or letters or both). Exit the game and look in wyre bash at the load order column to find those two digits and you will know what mods adds him.

Poontank Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 IDs starting with 'ff' are ref IDs for placed entities in the game world as opposed to their base entity's form ID you would need to determine which mod is placing them. Mods like 'RefScope' can be used to great effect to obtain both ref and form IDs in-game. It also immediately tells you which mod is using these IDs (and a lot of other helpful information).

If you have the grab refscope per Poontank's recommendation and use that to home in on what mod and what mesh path the minotaur is from\using. I should have recommended that a while ago! Hmm, considering this problem will very likely also touch other OOO creatures (I only started playing Oblivion, so haven't seen much), I'll probably need to do the same for all of them and make it into a BAIN-patch. (And they'll all be running around with boners - not a big deal, but still.) But at least it's a semi-viable solution. Thanks. But I can't be the only one playing with an OOO+LPK combo? There must be a reason it's only affecting me. Any clues in which direction I should dig?
gregathit Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Well, depending on the time you want to invest you can root through and update other base meshes or you can just keep an eye out for any that don't have "equipment" as you play and fix them accordingly now that you know the drill. It is all up to how important it is to you I guess.
Santr Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 Nah, giving all creatures "always-on" boners took five minutes (since all it takes is to make a copy of Lovers Creatures meshes folder and rename *armor.nif files to base body NIFs). I was hoping to find the reason for why the *armor.nif meshes aren't being swapped in when a creature rapes the PC. I guess I'll have to start disabling mods until it works. (But by god, rebuilding a load list properly takes forever each time.)

The problem lies exactly where this thread started: in OOO spawning its own creatures. And with that being the case, LPK doesn't know that it should give them the boner armors and which. I'm guessing the list of creatures and their respective "armors" is buried somewhere in LPK scripts? Does anyone know which one? Maybe, I could give it a try at making a patch for OOO...

You will have to "add" those creature to Lovers creatures or wait for someone else to do so (may be a long wait).

[/quote'] i've had the same problem for a while now and i have never installed OOO, MMM, etc. the only mod i have downloaded that adds/changes monsters is "monstergirl: demonhive", but the problem existed before that.
