Body type for classic Skyrim?

What is the best body type for classic Skyrim? CBBE or UNPB ?

Is unpb more similar to vanilla body type?

If I'll install UNPB  and then add a follower mod with custom Cbbe body and armor will this follower mod still work? including HDT? Or I must use single body type for all npcs and mods?

Use body slide to make your body there you can decide if you want to use CBBE or UUNP by using the preview option during creation. UUNP is the new UNP and has all of the UNP bodies in it. You can also convert all of your armors and outfits to the body that you make in bodyslide.

I want all npcs to have body type that looks similar to vanilla with minimum performance affect, and follower mods to have their own body types. I need to create unpb in bodyslide and place nif files in data folder?

Most races NPC's and followers use the same body files unless they are a custom one that uses their own body textures and body files. Those ones that are custom need to be manually changed.

If you want minimum performance issue then you would want to set outfit/body to UNP (this one has no boob belly or but bounce) and then scroll down and select UUNP - UNPB there is also UNPBB a UNPB chapi and 2 UNPB oppai's.

I prefer CBBE. With default values the bodies of the UUNP and CBBE look almost the same, but CBBE's sliders have far more sensible names to me.

Or rather I used to go with CBBE, but now I'm using CosioHD. But with it being higher poly, I guess that one doesn't meet your minimum performance prerequisit.
