Proactive Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 When attempting to hold shift or any other key I set it to it will not not pick up on the fact that I am trying to reverse the animation, it just advances like normal (all other hotkeys work as well). I have tried all of the rebuild options in the SexLab menu. The only thing I have not attempted yet is a complete reinstall of sexlab as it would pretty much break my save game. Any one had this before?

Any one had this before? Does the reverse modifier work for the other hotkeys, like the alignment change keys (left/right ect)? If yes, then I'd assume you either have a conflict that is messing with Sexlab's stage advance/reverse behavior or your SL install is a bit borked. Rather than risk a SL reinstall, I'd personally recommend you just install Sexlab Tools - that mod gives you a lot more control over SL animations (including nearby NPC animations). You can use that mod to backup to specific stages or select specific animations to swap to mid-scene.

Ill have to give Sexlab Tools a try. Thanks for the help!
btasqan Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 This is a known issue. If you use Rshift as reverse modifier it sometimes wont react. You have to use Lshift then. Lshift always works for me. Yes SL tools or SL Defeat(comes with SL Tools) are a must if you have tons of animations.
thiciathy Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I'm having the same issue. Position adjustment hotkeys work, but no hotkey for reversing their movement does. Tried both shifts, both alts, ctrls. No effect. I had sprint bound to LShift, so I thought it might conflict and I unbound it. Still no effect. It's driving me nuts. Help

The issue was caused by the mod "Better Mouse and Gamepad support" ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71444 ). After disabling it all modifiers now work like a charm. The mod itself wasn't even doing anything, mostly just a placebo effect, so nothing of value was lost.
