Passion Causes Loop with IFT's Time Portal and other errors

I have Sims 3 from Steam, version 1.67

I took out all the mods except:

1. Passion
2. NRAAS MC+cheats
3. nointro
4. nointromaxis
5. nobuildsparkles
6. [Buckley]No Hidden Brooms

 

The first problem is the "does not match current version" (not seen with Passion removed) error

 

Second problem is that when Inspecting the Time Portal, the sim gets stuck (photo relevant) in an animation where Emit Relevart is about to come out. The only way to stop the loop is to reset the inspecting sim. The Time traveler never shows, so going to the future can't happen. I really want to get a garden+Cook+repair+fishing plumbot at the plumbot store, and bang my sim's descendants

 

Third problem is that with Passion moodlets enabled, my desperate for sex sim tried to use the passion spell to woohoo with the Llama mascot from University. No passion happened, but he got a moodlet saying he was satisfied.

 

I have several animations installed (see screenshot of my animations folder).  Amimations in a separate folder works with Kinkyworld.

 

Edit for more info: By work without passion, I mean the first 2 problems don't appear when passion mod is removed with a new game but same sim from my sim bin and same town (sunset valley). The save of the game that passion loaded has the same problem #2 - gets stuck at the time portal.

 

Edit 2: A work around for the time portal is to

1. Remove Passion mod folder.
2. Start a New game.
3. Do the inspect portal and introduction to the time traveler.
4. Save and exit completely.
5. Put the Passio mod folder back in your mods folder.
6. Restart Sims 3 and reload the game. You can now go to the future.

A bit of work but if you want the future and Passion, it is your path.

 

How can I fix this? Do I need 1.69? I've never seen a mod that worked under 1.69 that didn't work on 1.67 before.

The Unofficial Modification warning is caused by either having an outdated core mod or by having a Core mod that doesn't match your game version in this case you have a Steam install the XCAS Core mods that came in Passion's download you should remove them if you installed them as you need the Steam version of XCAS which you can find here http://www.modthesims.info/d/434270/ make sure you get the right one.

 

Also Nobuildsparkles is outdated as fuck and should be removed people have had problems keeping that one in their game it's only meant for testing purposes to see if your mods framework was working when you got it.

For steam versions you need cmar_XCAS_corefullSteam67.package to setup naked outfits, that you will find in cmar blog below.

So cmar_XCAS_corefull67.package makes your issue and NOT passion!

Edit: Split up Passion Mod with XCAS into one folder,  and CMAR's more tattoo locations into another folder with the Steam version of XCAS. Now, move Passion folder to desktop - start a new game, and the stuck Loop where Emit is about to appear happens. Definitely an XCAS problem. My problem is that I don't care about tattoos and want to play passion and still have ITF gameplay.  I suppose I could just put XCAS into the mods folder when I want to edit sims nakedness...

Okay, figured this out. It really isn't the Passion mod.

I make my own worlds and I've noticed that when a world is populated with Kinky World Sims, the world gets fouled up and there are a number of glitches that just make KW not worth it; stuck on the toilet, fouled up Lifetime wishes, game crashes etc. I had thought that the world I was playing hadn't been contaminated with KW, but apparently it was even though it was depopulated.

I made a new world from scratch for use with Passion and there's no problem at all.

Rats. I really liked that world. Now I'm gonna delete it.
