Go into the game, open command console, click on the person, & type slm & their number.

For the player, type slm 14.

Enjoy!

?

wait... what?

will slm take the "sun burn" face paint off of moe? O_o i don't understand

edit: what i'm trying to do is make the harley quinn face paint a unique paint so i don't end up having it, cause right now moe cronin has sun burn and currenty the harley quinn face paint replaces it and now moe has the paint if i use it!!!

Two ways to solve your issue, which I understand is: this mod replaces a vanilla face texture, which you deemed undesirable - as it shows up on random NPCs.

1. Modify the mod's texture filenames to replace a different texture - this has limited utility as the "issue" will continue to appear throughout your game.

Some user's instructions on doing that:

Re the sunburn replacer. Download the file manually. Check the file contents to confirm where the file needs to go.
For the next step, I’m using https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24830 (looks menu custom compendium). This gives me an excess of ‘scar files’ etc. Which won’t be used by npcs.
Copy the file name of one of them. I picked "cursed clown" for this example.
Paste it over the file name of this makeup mod.
Then drag the renamed makeup file into the texture folder. This will then replace the "cursed clown" file.
Either new character or slm 14, go to "extras" then "damage", pick the "cursed clown".
Success...no more pimped up Moe or Macdonough.
I tried just renaming the file, with no joy. It had to be an existing file (as far as I can see).
Hopefully this wall of text will help someone. If not, don’t throw things at me.

Edit:The “cursed clown” scar is visible under the makeup. I was using Pilgrim, and didn’t notice.
So, probably better to choose a less conspicuous effect (a mole, or something)

2. Using CK/Fo4Edit after renaming the files in this mod to something unique, add the "new" face texture using new information - new name, paths, etc.
