Sexlab Isn't Registering All Animations

I'm just going to say right now I have never gotten deep in Skyrim modding but now I am and man is it confusing sometimes.

 

Issue: Alright, I downloaded all of my mods/animations using vortex (don't bash me I thought it would be cool to try out) and everything goes well but then sexlab doesn't register my animations. I know it isn't my fault because I did install SLAL and used FNIS. I'm really trying to get some animations that use sex toys/objects in them (I have devious devices and some other dildo mods idk too much about either). Funny enough it stopped registering new animations for some reason but when I downloaded zaz animations and clicked register in its menu (it acc has one unlike other menus) they actually appeared but none of the others ones have had any luck yet.

 

What I've Tried:

-Ensuring they are enabled (plugins and all)

-Made sure I have files that are needed for the animations

-Checked data directory myself for the files

-Ran FNIS multiple times (results posted below)

-Reloaded SLAL registry and sexlab

 

Stuff Noticed:

-When loaded in it says no sex animations installed at top corner.

-FNIS seems to read all animations but I don't see them in-game (I have oldrim, no dlc's yet so no creature animatons will work I know but there are many anims in each pack). [Info Below]

-I get a feeling that more than the animations aren't installed right but I did follow all instructions and don't see anything.

-Currently sexlab only registered 120 animations which are some I added during installation of first time

I fear to ask,

but did you register the SLAL packs ingame via the SLAL MCM?

on game start it would look like that:

  • start sexlab
  • (> activate creature animations in sexlab) optional
  • open SLAL MCM
  • SLAL MCM: activate all (or choose the animations you want to register by clicking check boxes)
  • SLAL MCM: register animations

 

now they should show up in Sexlab

 

SLAL packs don't register automatically in Sexlab,

but like that you can choose the animations of the SLAL packs that you want to be registered in Sexlab

thats not needed unless you change registered animations

thats from HDT sextoys that is waiting for you to register the animations via SLAL

after save->reload it will find supported animations (Leito, komodor)

 

 

Is there a better way to export Load Order from Vortex than screenshots?

Yeah, I restarted everything even sexlab and tried registering all the options for SLAL, even downloaded them twice so I have no idea why they do not appear in game. It's kinda sad because I need to fix these animations + like 2 more things then I will have everything I want.

your FNIS output looks okey to me so the animations are at the right spot

 

I am still not convinced if you used the SLAL MCM right,

because there is nothing to restart or download after you run FNIS

after that you start sexlab ingame and register the SLAL animations ingame via SLAL MCM

than save/reload so HDT sextoys can find the new registered SLAL animations

I show what I mean with pics, maybe its just a missunderstanding by me

sorry MCMs are on german, but the MCM activators  should be at the same spot

 

after starting a new game, ingame:

1. activate sexlab, keep the debug function in sexlab active, you can see later what SLAL is installing

2. save reload (to be sure)

3. open SLAL MCM, choose "activate all" (this just will add an X to all check boxes)

you can check here too if you see on the left side of the MCM all installed SLALpacks

4. register animations

you can open console now and see what animations get installed by SLAL

5. wait till all animations got registered, than save

6. reload, HDT sextoy should tell you now how many animations it found

 

optional:

instead of activate all, you can choose the animations you want to register from every SLAL pack via check boxes

after that see point 4. => register animations

EDIT: if you see errors in console while SLAL tries to register SLAL animations to Sexlab: you might wont to deactivate all creature animations if you dont have the DLCs

Ty for helping, after trying all of that  and spending 2 hours analyzing files the problem was that somehow I broke jcontainers by accident. Damn, Skyrim modding is tuff sometimes.

Hello, I tune in a bit late, but do you remember what your problem with JContainers was per chance? :) I started modding Skyrim SE recently and seem to be having the same issue as you did.
