DEKILLER Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 A small window prompt opens briefly before closing, but the game never actually launches and Im unsure why. I have tried disabling, and then I tried uninstalling, the mods that were added since it was last working, and neither have rectified the issue. Would anyone be able to help/guide me through what Im missing? The new mod manager isint giving any compatibility issues or bugs for me to work off of.
Metalsaber Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Go to your dir: C:\Users\<computername>\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE Open up the skse64.log. See if there is a plugin that did not load correctly.
DEKILLER Posted December 11, 2018 Author Posted December 11, 2018 I have 4 logs for most recent. All same date and time. Ill post them but I can see some things gave errors. still would have no idea exactly how to rectify them however. But thankyou Metalsaber for the assistance in finding the logs skse64.log0 skse64.log1 skse64.log2 skse64.log3
King-Crimson Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Everytime there is a change to SKSE, any mods that include SKSE plugins will have to be updated for that version. You're probably using outdated mods that dont work with the newest SSE / SKSE64 yet. Check for updates but you'll probably have to wait a few days. I recommend anyone to prevent Steam from updating Skyrim SE automatically if possible and wait for the update until everything is confirmed working.
DEKILLER Posted December 12, 2018 Author Posted December 12, 2018 I hadnt updated anything. I had only just installed SSE for the first time, before that I was running oldrim with something like 250+ mods. Decided to try the 64bit out instead. But thankyou so much for this XenonS3

I am having this SKSE error and would like to resolve it. Thank you!
Metalsaber Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 see this link but not sure where it comes from

It's an skse plugin only necessary for 32-bit, and it isn't being used anymore. Check the MNC (SSE) thread where they discuss it.

Thank you for clarifying this. An alternative is hiding the SetVehicleFixPlugin.dll in Mod Organizer. (FOR SSE VERSIONS ONLY)
