Changing Armor and Clothing Slots

The mod Charming High Heels, I am trying to change the counters of the heels from slot 52 to slot 54, I changed them in Nifskope and in Tes5edit , remade all patches (dual sheath redux, bashed, and tes5merged), and even though everything says they should now be using slot 54 and according to my followers inventory they are equipped, but they are invisible. I even triple checked Nifskope, Creations kit, and Tes5edit to make sure they didn't revert back to slot 52 and they didn't. Tried moving to bottom of load order and remade patches again and checked again to make sure they didn't go back to slot 52. I have tried everything I could think of and they remain invisible this is my first time trying to do this, Can anyone tell me what I did wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you change both the armor AND armor addon in the CK?

I've had this same problem and according to posts on the CHH Nexus page a few years ago others have as well. Merging the shoe parts into a single .nif seems like a good solution. There's a UUNP conversion of Black Lace Mini Dress with a merged CHH shoe.

I figured it out, now I feel so stupid it was staring me right in the face the whole time. the armor also uses slot 54 so if I equipped the counter on my follower first then equipped the armor it would show but if I took the counter back off then put it back on it was equipped but invisible. I changed the counter to slot 61 cause nothing else I have uses it now it works fine (well so far). Thank you for your fast replies if anything else goes wrong I will post back in here.
